This season has been poor for me because i missed every round except Le Mans which is this weekend and I will most likely attend that. Keep my spot in the lounge warm guys.

Is that a season? :sly:

Good races we had tonight. Let's do that more often :)

BTW: The showdown, is it off? The SpeedEnergy guy has been quite quiet.

Yeah the couple races I did with you guys today were fun. I learned I can be pretty competitive as long as I keep it on the road, which is generally how it works.

This season has been poor for me because of my ability so far to have only made 1 race, which I finished a disappointing 5th place in.

I hope the racing Gods favour me on Saturday, for once. Hopefully my sacrifice of a full race distance and many sets of tyres is enough to please them.

ok rex.

I dunno about the showdown, if it doesnt happen i'd be willing to organize something. Im sure i could get gogatrs and another series leader to join in as well.

hmmm 💡

for some reason the R8 had no grip in the turns with meds on the back, and on top of that the front tires never got any heat. wth!

I wrote a poem about Le Mans .Ok it doesn't rhyme and it was designed as a TV dialogue thing for a trailer if I ever made one which I probably won't but still, it is good and I will post it later.

I have it all in my head how the trailer would run. Would be epic if I did it. Would conatin real life images before switching to GT5.

Next up: A shakespearean sonnet about Formula One :D

Le Mans racecars fly

Speeding through the countryside
Hit the grass, ***k me

~~~~~~~~~
Missing braking point
Golfer takes out seven cars
Turn one disaster
~~~~~~~~~

Lap twenty-seven
Have to poop, can I do it
While I'm in the pits?

Looks like were doing the same shiz..

I'm doing a level economics which is maybe less complicated than what your doing.

It's fun if you can relate it to real life and how people make decisions.

Although your graph dosent seem to be a monopoly.. as it looks more elastic than a monopoly!

I have an exam next Thursday AMF. But it is cool because it physics and physics is cool. Maths on Friday and Wednesday is a subject similar to Economics but better..... Business Studies.

So what is it that everybody wants to do when they grow up? I want to be the Audi race engineer.

I don't want to grow up, it sucks.
But you know me, I'll conquer the world eventually and make everybody get stigmatized the letters B32 or they'll be sent to North Korea.

I think Audi will want a race engineer who has a mental age of more than 8.

I would like to note if BK's rule is still in effect, golfer must be suspended for the next 3 races by now. He wrote a book on Skyrim a few pages back and is now asking people about their life dreams.

yeah but BK went off topic, I posted about Skyrim in repliance to everyone else and posted about life dreams in return from AMF and Mike being off topic so by that rule, half the field are banned for the next few races.

I do business studies but our teachers decided they want us to do the all the exams in may grr. :grumpy:

Le Mans

Le Mans. The crown of endurance racing. The pinnacle of success. Drivers will give every last drop of strength and speed within themselves to lift the trophy when the clock stops ticking.... or die trying. The adrenalin of the race fuels not just the driver but the team, giving them the strength to fight on against not just the opposition but their own fatigue. Every minute brings them closer to the finish, an achievement in itself. But to stand on the top step of the podium requires that bit more. For the car to be working in perfect harmony with the driver. And the machine that will propel these men to victory? A monocoque of carbon fiber weave, a V-shaped heart working in unison with the body of the beast to blast the car down the Mulsanner Straight at more the three-hundred-and-fifty kilometers an hour. But the body of this machine does not just punch cleanly through the air but manipulates it, allowing the machine to hold speed through corners that others may only dream of. An engineering masterpiece but no less is required to conquer the Circuit De La Sarthe for this is no ordinary car and this is no ordinary race. This is a Le Mans Prototype and this is the Twenty-Four Hours of Le Mans

Ok so maybe it isn't as much of a poem as I imagined but it is still very good.

Yeah theres been off topicness but not on the same scale as you

And I'm sorry, not to be mean, but that poem is terrible.

golfer and amf have once again gone wayyy off topic

Mediums are the way to go IMO. 4 laps then pit.

i'm not sure whos tune jamm is using but the audi on meds is terrible.
Or im getting progressively worse @ this game.

I've I only gone as off topic as mike :/ Ohh and on mediums I'm getting 26 after doing my one lap practice.

Here it is, the final race of the season. Every driver will want to win this race, more than any other race of the season, but this race will surely be one of the more difficult races to win. Day, to night, then back to day. Rain is always a possibility. Who will win? Will it be jake, seth, Razor, Jamman, bombe, Peter, Niss, Prost? At least 8 drivers have a great chance of a win. It will be a race to remember, especially with these new Pirelli tyres mixing things up a lot.

I don't understand the appeal of this track on a game? It's crap!! I'm just looking for a finish.. ( if I'm home for the start)

Are you serious? Just because you're crap at it doesn't make it a 'crap track'.

On a game it's boring doing a course with 6 miles of straights... And I love how you call me crap. Your not exactly lightening.

Baring in mind the fact I haven't practiced for more than an 10 mins for any race other than laguna seca I hardly think you have much to go by?

Tool!

I like that you mention me - a retired guy - and not tissimo, one of the fastest guys ;) I think tissimo win this time, even though statistics say Jamman will, as only a season's champion have won the race at La Sarthe.
Jamman will be tricked by the new tyre wear. I said it first :)

Adam: Calling La Sarthe crap is like saying cake should be flushed down the toilet.
