FTW! Imakuni, like I said, you can look up my old posts on GTP (I have very few) if it bothers ya so much. I'm pretty sure I posted some pictures before. By the way, have you posted pictures of your car yet?Calm down, people. Does it affect your life in anyway if he provides pics? No. If he doesn't want to provide pictures, leave him alone. If he's lying then hes lying; if he's not, the he's not. Simple as that. You can go on living your life not knowing (or caring, even better) whether Troux has an AE86 and a Supra, no need to make a big discussion about it.
Thanks, Silverzone! I would recommend the Scions. Can't go wrong with an xB, but the tC is gaining HUGE aftermarket support, and is a little sportier, if that matters to you. I would advise you steer away from the Lancer.
I'm not sure if you are familiar with the insurance 'symbol' system (basically gives a number to rank how much to charge for a specific car), but I chatted with an insurance guy, and he told me the Lancer has a crazy high insurance symbol, just because it's related to the Evo. If the Evo were called the Mitsubishi Evolution, instead of the Mitsubishi LANCER Evolution, then they wouldn't be related. This is the reason the Dodge SRT-4 doesn't have 'Neon' written anywhere on the body, otherwise you would pay higher insurance on the base Neon.
To explain symbols briefly: it's a number, 1-28, that summarizes everything about the vehicle in terms of insurance risk. My old Integra had a 14, which is kinda high because even though it's a small economy car, it has a high theft rate. TT Supras, though not that expensive, get a 25, because they are owned by lots of people under 25 and wrecked a LOT. Evos are the same deal, but MUCH more commonly owned by youngsters and wrecked, so they get the highest symbol, 28, which is normally and automatically reserved for any car with an $80K+ MSRP. The base Lancer is the same as a Supra, 25. Nuts, huh?
Anyways, you can't beat Toyota reliability and build quality. Take the xB!
