Rank#69 SrRd-RacinG (DS3+automatic transmission)

Stock-1'50.238
Tuned- 1'37.887
Total-3'28.125

I can knock off maybe a bit more, but I think I'm reachng the limits with automatic+DS3 controller.

I always use ABS...having a lot of trouble without it.

Feels like the brakes lock as soon as I touch them...I can't ease off and keep them at lock threshold.

Any suggestions?

Great time Paulie;) To be honest, i don't like chasing peoples ghosts much, too distracting, but i do watch others replays quite alot to discover new techniques and such, keep up the good work;) Improved my normal car time to a 1'47.862. Splits from memory for both laps

Normal
T1 xx.147 (PB xx.103)
T2 xx.513 (PB xx.423) (Kart no.38 told me he did a .2xx split here, absolutely astonishing! its a shame no one will see his laps:tup:)

Tuned
T1 xx.023 (PB xx.892)
T2 xx.223

Sorry I couldn't remember the full split times, but you get the picture, split times are very important in discovering new techniques, and finding out what works and what doesn't, cheers

Had a .131 on T1 a min ago & binned it though but did improve to low 1'48.5xx.

Got a 1:49.396 in the stock car. I haven't spent much time on it, and won't be happy until I get to my target of a 48.5. I'm finding it hard to drive consistently, due to not touching my g25 in 2 months.

It's great the see all of (or most of) the best players in one place, some incredible times coming through, and really showing who the best in the world are.

Jack.

I really don't think the TCS works all that great anyway. It's still hard to keep the rear in check with the normal car.

I still think I can shave at least a couple seconds if I can remove the TCS from the stock car. It's really noticeable for me when coming out of turns 1 and 2 and going around the long right hander. I believe I can get more power down than the TCS will allow me.

Some new times:

Tuned: 1'36.549
Stock: 1'49.074 1'48.553
Total: 3'25.623 3'25.102

Need to work on the stock car. Its a 🤬 pain

Figured it out :sly:

Only had 2 hours today but took nearly a second off my stock time, didn't touch tuned today

Stock 1'49.982 (G25, MT, TC 0)
Tuned 1'37.551 (DS3, MT, TC 5)
Total 3'27.533

117th in UK

Just a message to Aussies. "MatthewS111" has had a go, I've raced him on rFactor at my site I race at and he is an absolute rocket. His pace is unbelievable, so watch out for Matthew to move up the ranks from 14th...:scared:

How come you use DS3 for tuned?

Just found it quicker while following ghosts etc but not sure how much was due to DS3 and how much was just me getting better with lines and braking points. So going to try G25 tomorrow and hope to crack the 1'36s

21 us GTP_Jump_Ace 1'49.160 1'37.072 3'26.232

I had a 1:48.8 all lined up until I totally shanked the last turn, got on the trottle too early and went wide  But I'm still lovin' everything about this demo and am glad to see the rust is kinda wearing off. But haven't been chasing any ghosts except my own :)

I'm in the middle of COD: MWII so I'm not sure how much more I'll play on this, now I wish I had been playing with my Kor account, poor ENigma is up there all alone, hehe. GL guys!

Jerome

Big improvement, had a go with tuned 370z and shaved over 0.3 off as well as another 0.075 off the normal 370z, so im down the elite 3'24 club woohoo only just though.

I had another shot at the tuned 370Z (first time in two days) Suprisingly I knocked off a couple 10ths on my fifth lap (no restart) then some more a little while later but then I went into a dead zone of consistancy.

psn - CoolColJ

DFGT wheel
1:39:568 - rank 441
1:52:111 - rank 311

I thought it was Matt016, or is this a different guy?

Hey I'm new here first post !!

I have 2 ps3 so under the adrenalinjunky- ID I made 4 in Canada for the moment...

STOCK 1'48.886 BOOSTed 1'37.538 TOTAL 3'26.424

Now my ID is GTP_adjunky-QC ..

Gc_under_01 is giving me a hard time !!!!!!!!

I look forward to some more competition from Australian drivers, so I hope Matthew moves up the ranks aswell, although I hardly think he will the likes of GTPDevie, Madison and myself If he hasn't played much of Gran Turismo to date, wise assumption there Mad?

Had a frustrating yet promising session last night with the Normal car again, I understand the exact route to achieve the limit, its just a matter of being fresh and on the ball, and the lap will come;) Chasing a low .6 btw

Correct Dan, he has just done his HSC and he normally plays PC sims, so yeah.

Nick, different Matt. :)

138.404 tuned 244 rank
152.323 stock 720 rank (needs improvement)

only 3 hours play time on a dual shock... = )
is there somewhere the dual shock only times are posted?
(gettin the g25 out of storage tomorow.=)

The only way to tell is to click on a drivers name on the leader boards and it will tell you if they are using a wheel or a controller.

checked...theres about 25 people or so using it in the top 100 in the US, then I stopped looking. Its interesting to see some of the top repays show a driving line a bit different than the suggested one. = )

For me the DS3 was quicker with the tuned car, cant beat the with the wheel :ouch:

Tuned car 1.40.5?? plus/minus ranked 700+ in my country
Normal car ranked 315+/- in my country

I just watched your tuned replay. Very impressive. Smooth and fast. Nice!

I think my big hurdle right now is turns 8, 9, and 10...The real tight ones, and the final corner leadin to the speedway bank. Man, I cant seem to stay patient, and derive off line. = /

Some improvements

Stock: 48.59
Tuned: 36.49

I know where I am losing most of my time, in that third gear right hand corner half way through before you come onto the short straight (with the yellow striped stuff on the outside). I know what I have to do, but I can't seem to hit the apex right... grr.

Also need to be a bit more aggressive I think. I am pretty sure I can take more time off the tuned, but not sure about the stock.

Massive drop in time over the last 24hrs from you mate.... congrats! Where abouts in Brisbane are you?
