Won't last long though!
It's like having your 15 minutes of fame!
Won't last long though!
Before you jump to conclusions, try watching the video in discussion and pay attention to the final laptime, 1'10.xxx. Now going on a 1'36.xxx lap in the tuned, lets do the maths.... 36-10=26
Some people just amaze me.
Brock are you kidding with the 26 second difference?? If the tuned had 300 hp more the gap would be 6 secs, and we are talking about a 80% heavier car... Don't you wonder why they made the tuned so little faster than the std on a straight line??? GT5D is a joke. Too arcady with the tuned and wet racing with the std.
I hope others see what i mean...maybe i'ts my fault. I'm saying that with the crazy grip the tuned has (mainly off throtle) if it was faster on a straight line it could be able to knock off at least 15 secs off the 1.35 time and cut the gap with the f1 to single digits, something ridiculous considering its weight.
GEORGE and i are exaggerating to make our points more clear. Only the fact that there is a discussion on whether or not the tuned has more grip than the F1 proves our point. How are you coming up with the math to figure that if the Tuned Z had another 300hp, the gap to an F1 car would be only 6 seconds? I can SURELY guarantee you that it would NO WAY in hell gain anywhere near 20 seconds if only the power was bumped up by another 300hp, especially on a relatively short circuit like Indy, that isn't really suited to an F1 car all that well (particularly the "S" section) Where an F1 laps in 1:10 and the tuned 370Z @ ~ 1:36.
From my experience tracking and modding my real cars, I will say that gaining 20 seconds on a car like the tuned Z is realistically an impossible undertaking, and very hard to achieve even if you took a bone stock car like the 370Z and were to throw everything under the sun at it (full weight reduction, brakes, suspension, 600hp, full aero, slicks, etc.). When it comes to calculating how much another 300hp is worth using your dummy math...you fail
And lastly and most importantly - If you read closely, I've already said the tuned Z has a unrealistic amount of grip, I'm only arguing that it doesn't have more grip than an F1 car as GEORGE was trying to claim. Got it?
Got it. I'll make sure to have Santa drop a cookie off at your house for Christmas
I still don't understand why you would try and argue with me to begin with, when I had already stated the Tuned Z was too arcadish and had too much grip, before you even jumped in to start running your mouth
I guess you wanted to argue just for the sake of arguing, even though you didn't even know where I stood to begin with
Save your santa lines for your american friends ,

It feels great to see that i'm quite close to some of the top GTP guys.

Everyday improving a little, I guess that's not bad
But since everybody else is also improving, I'm barely managing to defend my place lol
I wonder how long...

i'm convinced i need a wheel to go competitively faster. has anyone tried both wheel AND controller out of curiosity? I'd be interested to know how much theoretical time i could save on this lap
lmao there you go running your big mouth again.
remember this?
quit shooting yourself in the footphonytony, you keep making a fool of yourself.
edit: now would be a good time to invest in ego insurance.
