Great post Rudi!

I have a bad feeling 24´5 will be the cutoff time to get into the top 500. Also, i predict 150 drivers will get into the 23´s. I´m yet to see some of the usual freaks high in the rankings... i´m sure they will come.

Anyway, i´m sitting at 1´48´363 with the normal car, and waiting to improve before i can move on to the tuned car. I won´t be able to play after vacations are over, so i got to give all the effort now.

Had a frustrating session last night. Three hours in the normal car, a bunch of laps very, very close to Timeattack´s splits, but somehow i would always botch the attempt. I can see a 47, i just need to go get it!

Oh, and btw, i hate the two slow corners before T3.

Had to work really really hard for this improvement in the normal car, as yesterday brought nothing.

It was quite incredible to me that having nearly knocked a tenth off today in the normal car (and thus overall) that I didn't move from 20th on the super-tight UK board. Then I looked more closely and saw that I had passed 2 people but 2 others had leapfrogged me. Incredibly, if I find 0.186 in the tuned car tomorrow, I'll go from 20th to 10th!

What a contest, and it gets harder every day to find any improvement at all.

4 hours in the normal car this afternoon and no improvement... jump on for a quick go tonight and knock 0.06 off in 30 minutes... silly how things go sometimes

I got my DF-GT wheel today and I've jsut been trying to drift the 370Z all day and it's tough. I did do a pretty ****** lap IMO but I still got 1.39.XXX with the wheel so Im sure I can go pretty fast after som practice!

Yah! Back into the top 250. Worked on my normal Z time today, hopeful that will keep the rabble at bay for a while. I lost 0.1 sec on the last oval section too :nervous:

No luck on the tuned, but tommorrow hopefully I will crack it, as I was able churn out consecutive laps in the upper 1:38s.
Finally getting my driving lines sorted. I had the 1:37 guy as my ghost, on one lap everything clicked, drifted into the first turn and powered out, with nothing to spare and was 0.4 sec ahead at the first sector, but then I nipped the grass on the back straight braking zone and spun out :ouch:

I improved my times with both cars yesterday. I'm sure I can improve at least .5 second from this point.

And never improved, then 30 mins in the normal car, and shaved 0.30...

That was good enough for 6th, but today im 8th again

made a little improvment with the normal car, new time of 1'47.639 and a new totality of 3'23.093, reverted back to simulation steerige with full feedback, although my wheel's feedback is quite poor

You need one wheel with 3 Gforce engines inside :lol:

Still driving the stock atm. Drove it for an hour and a half and only got to 48.4 this morning. Had a go again and was doing 48.3's at best with a new PB of 1'48.312, improving by a massive 0.001 :crazy:

I feel you guys to. In the past three days I've probably spent about 10 hours trying to break into the 1'35.6's (currently @ 1'35.735) with the damn tuned car, only to be left with frustrations. My goal for now was to knock off at least ~ .045 or so, in order to break into the 3'23.5xx's overall (which would move me from 22th to 16th in the WW rankings)...but the damn thing just won't give it to me, even though my splits show that I can do a low 1'35.4xx :crazy:

Now I'm not expecting to knock off three tenths, but another tenth or two would be nice so I can get back to work with the normal Z after pulling my hair out with this Tuned bastard in the past week :yuck:

I don't know about you guys but ETC does not work on my demo. I can set it to 10 and do all the donuts I want - :lol:

- Normal car is default at 7 and cannot be changed but I can smoke the tires all I want :sly:

I somehow believe that ETC is suppose to keep you from doing that :dunce:

Another day, another 3 hours behind the wheel... haven't spent this much time hot lapping since the IFTC... my wife thinks I'm mad :crazy:

Improved the tuned car by 0.1 today... should really have been a 35.9xx, but lost around 0.07-8 through being conservative in turn 11...

I think you will have a nice surprise when you get back to the normal car. I've been chasing your ghost for the last two days, and altough it's a great lap, there are three turns where i usually make up ground on you, so i think you will end up with a 1'47'7xx there.

I start the lap in front, i gain a bit on the sweeping left after T1, on the left after T2 and on the slow left just before T3.

Anyway, just my 2 cents.👍

Just made a .78x T1 with tuned car, going to a 1'35.4xx doing the same as my previous lap, but I drove horribly in the T3

I could do a 1'35.3 low if I put together all my best splits, but it's not easy, as you all know :lol:
