Same here, mad. Well, not about the 1'48.1, but about only driving the tuned car
. Got back into first place with the tuned car with a 1'36.059. Still room for improvement though. I was over 0.15 up at T2 but only improved by 0.024 at the line, so I lost alot of time.
Then went back to the stock Z. I hadn't driven is since the 18th and was down to 5th in that ranking. Only managed to shave off 0.06 of my time yesterday, so I just had another go and did a 1'48.313, which puts me in first place here aswell
.So now these are my times:
Stock: 1'48.313
Tuned: 1'36.059
Total: 3'24.372 (Which puts me just in front of PASM in the GTP rankings, sorry mate
)

And there I was thinking that it only happened to me... had a lap that was a dead cert for 1.36.1XX and grazed the wall on the last banked turn and invalidated the lap! Swore just a little bit when it happened.
Scraped into the 3:24's this morning while chasing Maz's ghost round the track... for the love of god, slow down will you man!

Well done getting on the pace so fast mate, I guess anyone with that much original ability and talent was never going to be off pace for long.

Hey all haven't posted on here in a long while, just got back home from xmas celebrations and downloaded the TT. Loving it so far, heaps of fun to play and very challenging. New physics are ace in my book.
Times so far with my good old DFP:
Tuned: 1'37.196
Normal: 1'49.266
Total of: 3'26.462 (48th in Aus, and in the GTP standings as well funnily enough)

haha yeah it's mad isn't it. It's got to be said though that if you, Jack and Pru weren't already so far up the leaderboard I'd have given up I reckon. We always had extremely similar pace in-game so it really spurred me on to catch up to you guys. As long as I'm in the mix with you fellas, that is all that matters.

I tell you what mate, we must get more GTP bods up into that top 20... we're getting pushed out a bit by the pesky free-agents. Having said that positions 19-25 is all GTP a real battle royale! It gonna be fun don't you reckon?

Not so much progress from me today, only 0.076 in the normal car. Twice in two days now, in both cars, I've been inside Moose's ghost before the second last hairpin only for it to end in me turning the air blue with obscenities. Thank goodness there's a MONTH of this left...grmbl...
