Came back from 4 days away visiting family over Christmas and I'd been bumped down from 11th to 21st.

Had another run in the tuned car today and improved by .2... back up to 14th.

Ranked at 188th in Canada.

I'm slowly moving up, but I'm beginning to think I won't be able to go much better. Any advice from the top guys on how to do better? And can I see the replay of people from different countries?

Was away for a few days over christmas and got knocked from 312 to out of the top 500, just improved in tuned and back into top 500 (only just, but probably not for long)

Well relatives have been round all the time, which means sharing PS3 and desk space etc
however got an hour in just now and took .223 off my stock time

Finally busted 1:38 and 1:51 and back in the top 1000 (close to top 500) both cars. Yeah seconds and hundreds of places out the top 20 but I'm feelin pretty good about it.

Possibly find a few more tenths, but getting very tight now....

Shaved 2 1/2 tenths off tuned car...

From 217th to 151st for tuned. Pleased to be staying in top 250. 163rd total time up to now...

Will give normal car some more laps soon...

i think that times will be enough 👍 after JP, spain is the most competitive country... but spain can put 2 guys at silverstone and if you go again you'll know how to drive the GTR at least

btw just made 35.664 but the PSN was down and the lap was lost... will try again... oh my...

I was hoping to learn it this time because last year my performance in GT Academy was... not so good, you know

Although in Spain we have two places for Silverstone, I think you'll have easier to go than us (watching your distance in Portugal rankings)

I am sure you can do a better lap than that you couldn't upload 👍 , but when that happens it's so frustrating

Very important, don't take anything lightly, respect your opponents and give them full credit, even If you time trialled them with a close to 1 second advantage, which is the advantage we both have curently in our respective countries

just curious, did any of the fastest gamers in stage one actually win the national final competition? I remember Lucas being 15th and one of the UK guys saying he only got the time he needed on the last day.. being too fast could possibly be a bad thing? - because psychologically you know you are the best, but the pressure to perform and keep it that way is probably even greater than someone who just got in and has nothing to lose??

I'm not trying to shine a negative light on anyone doing very well at all - well done guys! ..but do you see where I'm coming from?

Lucas was the second in the time trial in Spain and the second in the national finals... (me 1st ).

Currently 1'48.566 in the stock car, which is good for 18th in the US on the stock leaderboard. I know where I'm losing time, so it shouldn't be long before I can whittle that down... just wish I had more time to play.

Still haven't put more than 20 full laps on the tuned version, which is at 1'37.205 right now. I should be able to bring that down to the mid-to-low 1'36 range. Currently 27th overall in the US... very happy with that for having put hardly any effort into my tuned car laps. 👍

Finally made it into the top 100 in Canada today using a DS3! I tried copying some of the tricks dholland uses, but a lot of times when I tried braking the same as him I'd just drift to the grass. Anyways, the times are:

1:50.2 Normal (manual)
1:37.7 Tuned (automatic, TC 8)

Don't think there's much more room for improvement though. But I'm happy I almost achieved my goals. I just wanted to break into the 49's with the normal and then it would be job accomplished. Maybe if I had a wheel I could do better, but what I have is good still.
