Got 3rd, sniffing 2nd.

3.22.856

There is a good chance that Take may pull out a 3.22.500. Those are the sector times I am seeing.

Hi,

It doesn't appear (yet) in zabeu's leaderboard, but i think you can expect some changes on top of the rankings, coming from the Lacombe brothers, considering the times they've done yesterday night on the stock car.
See here: http://eu.gran-turismo.com/fr/academy/2010/ranking/?board=2&area=63

Considering me, I didn't achieve my goal that was to get under 3.24 ...
3.24.192
1.35.998
1.47.194

Anyway, congrats to everyone for the efforts on the track or off the track (especially zabeu for the great features). 👍

Edit: I don't know if I should post this here or on the "global leaderboard" topic.. sorry if I did the wrong choice. ;)

Yes ti-tech is Arnaud.

Obviously they trained offline so the times won't be uploaded in the leaderboards ... now they're playing online and those times might not even be their actual best.. :odd:
It's relatively risky but it's surely going to be ok for them 3 ...

I know all to well how quick he is. Looks like I have to put in a huge effort in a while.

Improved my tuned lap a little while ago. Now tied in 6th place with Mr_Arrogance. Will have one last push tonight. :scared:

1'47.768 | 1'35.757 | 3'23.525

Imagine if his internet went down LOL. They should've done what Dan Holland did, have a good go at the beginning and then decide whether to carry on or not, you can always train offline from that point.

Ok, you scared me with the talk of the internet going down, so I had another session, and improved on the 2nd lap  WTF??

1'47.768 | 1'35.741 | 3'23.509

5th in the UK for now. :D

Ti-Tech just did a 3.22.5 - Takeuchi must not be feeling well right now. He has basically led until the final day.

Anyway, time for me to aim for 3rd.... again. Damn.

I never post such things, but the new french times are truly a "WTF?" moment.

I really didn't see that coming. I heard of them, but i had no idea how freak they were.

those times by TI-Tech are amazing but his behaviour is unsporting... that takes away all the spirit of the competition (imagine if everyone do the same)... running offline hiding the times and then show up.. dirty tactic!!! whats the point!? i hope hes not trying to tell us that he just found the demo today and that was really easy to do those times... 👎

i really hope takeuchi can take 1st spot again because he is definately the best GT player and he don't deserve that 👍

1'48.255 | 1'36.235 | 3'24.490

Pleased with those times, although I can still see a lot of room for improvement.

I suppose you have a point there Bruno, no-one bother until the last day next time hehe!. I suppose we had a little bit of unsporting behaiviour last time also when the best time was submitted in the Dutch rankings and it turned out not even to be a Dutchman.

It might be unsporting to some, but the fact is, it's well within the rules of the competition.

Such tactics are something that the top competitors should get used to if they plan on racing real cars anyway!

yeah.. you're right but still... i bet the FR guy used takeuchi ghosts (probably others)as reference.. its a shame that the competition is over in japan already because if takeuchi had another day he would get that P1 again for sure..

anyway.. even if it isnt unsporting, its all about tactics  those times by the french guy are really amazing and not his best times for sure.. :scared:
