Yea, sounds like a good Idea. You could use an FGT and just coast half a lap down until first pitstops, then just sit in a gap. that way you can have the whole replay (you should be able to finish) and you can have some fun as well :P

I'd still only be able to fast forward the replay until the last lap I completed, which would be lap 2 if I had ran a pace car then exited.

Still doesn't work. Done that before, too.

The game only lets you fast forward to the last lap you completed.

Don't set the regs to 'NASCAR only' and come out in a limited FGT or something that allows you to run quickly under the track apron?

Well, if I finish 5 laps down in an 80 lap race, it's not big deal.

I was thinking of using a Camaro on sport hards or something. I'd try to post updates like I did last race.

I donno.

You can't send someone a copy of the replay. Right?

we had this problem in WSC the other day. You can send a replay but we think you need playstion plus. Mule, ask Furi how he got the replay sent to him because he thinks he has found a way to do it....

Can I make a suggestion Mule. I enjoyed your in race reporting the other day, as did others I believe. It's going to be harder to do if you're on track though.

So maybe get a nominated stewards panel from those racing so they can check back any incidents of contention on your behalf, with you making the overall final decision?

Not ideal but saves you having to go through the whole race 5 times to check an incident near the end of the race.

As far as transferring replays goes;
If the functionality does not exist within the PSN, or requires special account access/permissions, ie PSN+, a work around could be for someone who turned every lap to save the replay, export to XMB, save to USB, transfer to a computer and send via email or post to an online file store. Receiver then does the reverse to watch the full replay.

Kinda klunky but it should work.

Yep, this works. Just make sure the sender and receiver are both using the same region of game though (NTSC/PAL), as replays from one region won't work on the other.

Isn't all of North America NTSC? PAL is almost every where else? After reading the wiki article on NTSC I stand corrected. PAL being developed and used in mostly european countries because it compensates for poor signal conditions. After review of the coverage map though, PAL and SECAM cover most of the world.

NTSC can send to NTSC. PAL to PAL. I will be doing a tutorial on it soon if it still works.

Since Mule is in NA, someone should be able to get him a full replay.

Canada is NTSC, yes.

I didn't want to ask about someone sending me a replay, because I figured that would be inconvenient, but meh. If someone (from NTSC) wants to, they can. I would need them to send it to me on the same day, though.

If I should finish before the timer expires I'd be happy to. Or even if I don't.

I can confirm that gokartman wont be racing this week. Replacement to be named by Friday.

I'm just gonna make Power Rankings every other week. Makes things simpler.

I will fill in for Kartman on Saturday. Niop, this means there'll be an opening in the room if you want to come in and stream it.

It's easy....

Save Replay.
Export to XMB.
Put on USB and move to PC
ZIP file.
Done.

Niop, didn't you have anything to say to the recent PM from me? :dopey:
I'll have a reply sometime this weekend.

Mule, I'm about 50/50 if I can make it or not. But if I can I'll come and stream it for sure. 👍

GTP Nascar Nationwide Series

Round 2

GT Academy 150

Twin Ring Motegi Superspeedway
Track: 1.5 mile, egg shaped oval
Distance: 100 laps, 150 miles

Previous winners: n/a

Three weeks before the Sprint Cup makes their much anticipated debut at Japan's only high speed oval, the Nationwide drivers get to "test the waters" so to speak, having a 100 lap race at the site of the final challenge of the 2012 GT Academy competition.

Team owners will likely be taking notes as little is known about how the cars will handle the 1.5 mile egg. Racing is expected to be close and tires expected to last anywhere between 20-30 laps, leaving options when it comes to pit strategy.

RedPartyhat performed well in the preseason race here, and his RAB Racing team should be the favourites going in, following the lead of last weeks winner, Grinols. But Trynor, Crazy_bassist_83, and JR Motorsport's replacement for the absent smuffy, Dexterwhite5150 will almost certainly have something to say about that. Counting anyone out here should be considered foolish.
