Two wins in two NNS starts? Give this man a new contract.

I'm sure he's happy with his current one :sly:
Awesome race and great job by Mustard not letting Owens catch up to Grinols on the final stint. Grinols was able to hold a 3 second lead for 25 laps.

I hope there wasn't any blocking going on.

I was so confused during the race about so many things....like who was going to pit when, how much fuel to take, etc. It was crazy without a mic. But then again, I might loose concentration with one... I'm not used to having one. Party hat had it figured out haha.

I don't think there was any blocking going on (I was watching the stream). If you look at how much fuel each car had at the end, Grinols had almost 1/4 of a tank (more time spent sitting on pit road), while mustard and owens were nearly empty (optimal for less time spent on pit road). Had Grinols played his fuel closer, he would have completely run away from the field. He definitely had the fastest car on the track today.

I think Rich was just playing it smart. He already had a teammate en route to victory, so he chose not to push a rival team car up to the front.

I did not try and slow Owens, I simply sat behind him and tied to pass him towards the end. Party suggested that I pass with several laps to go, I was originally planning on doing it with just 2 or 3 to go. If you watch you see I closed the gap down to Grinols after passing Owens so I helped him go faster. If thats what your trying to suggest that I was intentionally blocking Owens from coming back?

He definitely threw a couple of blocks. I understand not pushing. I don't think anyone would do that in his position. But there were definitely a couple of blocks in the closing laps. Nothing too obvious, nothing overly dirty. Enough for any penalty? I doubt it. But it happened.

There was only 1 thing I noticed in the race from my view that might warrant a penalty, and that was when D4lvy_ took a hip check in the middle of 1 and two. Nobody's PM'd me with anything yet.

Of course you are going to block to not allow someone on your inside. It's not like he brake-checked Owens.

'Blocking' is allowed on ovals anyway to a point, if someone's about to go down your inside but they're still behind you, you're free to pull down and stop them from getting through. The only exception to that rule I can think of is swerving down straights to block someone off.

Yeah, he wasn't swerving. If he was swerving, that would be a different story.

I just would have liked to have seen Owens get up there. But oh well. Nevermind.

Mule, didn't save the replay but as you said I think I was one of Litchi's victims. Lost momentum and fell back from pack I was running in. I was well down at that stage but ungentlemanly conduct IMHO.

Lap 101 out of two. I got a run. Come up and lil inside. Mustard dives down for block and I jerk right to pass outside and was pushed on up track.

Sorry but that's dirty. One Kane change and stay put.

As well I don't want pushed by ANYONE but my team. I tried to make the pushing from Mystard stop in stint one and he just followed me and even let off to get back behind.

Sorry but that is wrong abd also dirty. When a driver makes it clear he don't want pushed anymore. Pass him. But nope just push his tires off cause that's how dirty drivers work.

How is bump drafting dirty? When did you make it clear that you didn't want to be pushed? You were willingly staying in first the whole first stint. If you didn't want to be pushed, why not just slow down and let him pass?

I did. However when my name is mentioned repeatedly in public I feel compelled to respond in public. Sorry.

Watch replay cause I tried that and thought it was obvious I didn't want to be up front being pushed anymore. Was on a tune I hadnt got a long run on and was getting nervous about tire wear from being pushed an entire stint. Usually people trade spots to make things fair. But meh. Respect goes a long way.

Well firstly tires do a lot better when your out of a draft so Mustard was doing you a favor.
Mustard isn't obliged to pass you. If you really honestly didn't want to be in the lead, then I don't understand how you lead all the laps on the first stint. Why not just go on the inside of the straight, tap the brakes, let a few guys pass you?

I already said this. I tried. One first stint. Last stint he wasnt pushing.

Honestly about fed up with the class of driving and really close to retiring. Headache and bickering over what is clearly not the kind of driving I signed up for.

I think part of the problem is that 1 guy had a mic and one didn't. Neljack and I were able to work well together despite having really never talked before, as we both had mics.

I'm gonna take videos of the last few laps and let everyone see them because I want to draw a hard line between OK blocking and Dirty blocking.

Just sayin, but would help if more of us had mics.........

EDIT: Typed this before I read Mule's comment above, exactly that.
Also Owen I dont think leaving is the best option, if thats you're idea of dirty, then have you seen other series?

Everything will be up tomorrow (today, Sunday).

I will say this right now, if someone is making it clear they do not want to be pushed, trying to move out of the way, etc., don't push them. I know I give Furi a hard time with his "don't bump me in the corners" thing at Daytona, but if someone's pulling down to the inside to let you pass, don't follow them.

No penalties, just a general heads up to everybody.

Incidents:

Lap 33: GTP_Litchi and D4LVY_ touch going into turn 1, knocking D4 off line and to the pack of the multi-car pack both drivers were in. Litchi was being fairly aggressive throughout the early parts of the race, making risky passes on people when he probably should have just stayed in line, but on this incident, yes is was a fairly late pass, but it looks at if D4 came down slightly, as Litchi either lagged slightly (he was also a bit laggy as well) or didn't hold his line with his DS3 controller. D4 should share at least some blame for that, and since he didn't lose the draft of the pack he was in, I don't see a reason to give Litchi a penalty for that alone.
Decision: No penalty. Both should have been more careful, Litchi should have been more patient.

Points tables up later tonight. Have to go to the store before it closes because I'm out of shampoo (shut up).
