You may want to know there may be draft in free run, should make things interesting . (I posted in Sprint too)

Draft is in free run, and Grinols is unavailable this weekend so Spurgy will take his place in the #42.

Hasn't Spurgy been in 3 races already?

And Disable Collisions will probably be on in Quali since it negates the draft.

Thats cool....never liked draft not being around. Seemed naked without being able to slingshot on my hot laps. :sly::sly:

Guys, I do not want to cause any confusion but is the Nurb GP/D definitely going ahead on Saturday as planned? Still on Hards? I know SC are taking a break to evaluate the changes but want to be certain on the NW position.

SC are scheduled an off week this week anyway, but I believe MULE is adamant to keep the hards so I suppose it will be.

I'm enjoying this season's specs and I like think this new tire model only adds spice to this weekend's otherwise not very attractive race.

My literacy skills suck, are you saying this is a good race or a bad race. I hate it when people use double negatives :grumpy:

I expect race bad before update. I now think update make race good.

Make sense, no?

Ah, I get ya now :D. But now tyres will do the whole thing easy which kinda takes the saving bit out of the race :(. Time to whip out the 7.5 camber values :sly:

I'm just using tunes from my teammate which has given me a top-9 in each race this season :)

try running about 0.2 camber on the front, and then about 8.9 on the rear. No oversteer at all :sly:

Sorry for the lack of activity over the last week.

My router died an hour before the Indy race, and the new one arrived today. Sorry to my mule and my team for the unexpected race absence, but looking forward to the next race

Paulmac will be racing in the 2010 Brian Vickers tomorrow and should his connection not act up, he will be permanent driver.

Perfect. so you got a driver? I gave my contract for the 88 to lockwhite so he is driving for Hendrix fulltime now. If you ever need a seat filled Red let me know I can fill in

GTP Nascar Nationwide Series

Round 6: Bosch Spark Plugs 125k

Nuburgring GP/D

Approaching the halfway point of the season we head into a stretch of two straight road courses. The first being the inaugrual trip to Germany's famed Nurburgring. We'll be using the short version of the Green Hell's Grand Prix track, which should prove a challenge as teams get a grip with Goodyears brand new racing tires, as well as revised Aero and Suspension packages.

GTP_Paulmac attempts to rejoin the series as Grinols' full-time replacment at RAB Racing. Hopefully his connection has improved since the preseason. Lockwhite's impressive 2nd place finish at Indy has also landed him a full-time ride at JR Motorsports, replacing Dexter_white5150.

Nationwide Power Rankings after Round 5:

1. Grinols: Proved last week that he can, in fact, do it on his own, as he finished 4th in his first race with his new team, well ahead of both of his teammates. He will be missing this race, though, a luxury of his lowest drop so far being 7 points.

2. mustardaddict: Winning his first race of the year at Indy, he'll be looking to carry this momentum on to the two straight Road courses, where he's always a favourite. His win also gave him 2nd in the points, owning the tiebreaker with a 1st and 2nd to Owen's 1st and 3rd

3. OwensRacing: An evil telecom worker sabotaged his rocketship of a car last week, cutting an oil line and resulting in his 2nd engine failure of the season. Having essentially used up both of his drops, every result from here on out counts. He won the preseason race here, he likes the track, expect a good finish tomorrow.

4. D4LVY_: What should have been a third podium ended up as a spin on the final lap. He only dropped to 5th, though, because of the huge lead his team built up. His best finishes have all been on tracks where teamwork is essential to a good finish, so it'll be interesting to see where he stands in 2 weeks.

5. Lockwhite: Impressed everybody in his debut race last week, finishing 2nd. If he had gotten a chance to start the season, who knows how the points table would shake up?
