Decided to count laps, 15 to go and Niop has 31, I have 23, going to be close :)

Lap count:
Me - 33
Niop - 31
RPH - 11
Joe - 6
Tom - 2
Akmuq - 1

Fixed :)

I think going green after T1 at the sportscar start line is the best idea, we get to do a rolling start + since we're not at full speed, everybody should easily be able to negotiate Eau Rouge.
This.

Rolling start either way, it's only way to do it.
Also this. Personally, I don't see the need for a full pace lap, I'm sure we're all capable of sorting ourselves out in the correct order before the sportscar start line. It's not rocket science.

After watching the 500 the single file Daytona sport soft racing makes sense now

To be fair, I'd call that Motegi race my best GTP NASCAR run since the original NW season (not including Trucks, I'm talking about the cautionless races here :dopey:), considering I was pretty much alone for the whole race, as in, no teammate help or stuff like that. Tires went out at the decisive moment, but 7th was pretty much the best I could do.

Not sure if I'm driving at Spa, or if I am, the team I'm racing with is one big question mark, as it has already been agreed that Widowmaker will take over my seat in these rounds. I don't quite feel I have enough mental strength to take on a road course just now.

Plan is for me, Jammy, and Widowmaker to tackle Spa. Widow's already been sorting with me today.

Hey I had fun while in tandem with you at Motegi. It was the first time we truely got to work together. And it was fun to see how much better you have become. I still remember NW S1 and sending you tunes n strategies. It seems like it was only yesterday when I was your Team Owner. That was a good season for us Carbonox! You almost had the title but at least we won the Team's Championship!

Well I'd like to know what you mean by the "better" part... Although yes, I'd love to carry this "Mr Consistent" momentum throughout the season.

Furi, if you're reading this thread, take a good look at that table, and pay specific attention to the tiebreakers.

First off, RPH, Niop and Akmuq (and everyone else for that matter), join this now.

Okay, so onto Spa. A few things I need to clear up. Firstly, the start.

-After qualifying is over, I will call everyone one by one to the track, in their qualifying order. Line up after turn 1 somewhere. Doesn't matter so long as you're in grid order.
-Once everyone is lined up, I'll start the race normally.
-The "formation lap" will simply be from the F1 start line (where the game puts us) to the Sports Car start line after turn 1 (see below)
-Until turn 1, maintain a pace speed of 25 mph, to give everyone time to sort themselves out (as everyone will need to switch lanes so that the odd numbered qualifiers are on the inside for turn 2)
-Once everyone is at turn one, increase pace speed to 50 mph

Once the leader crosses this line, the race is on:

Regarding Corner cutting, I'm going to adjust the boundary for Eau Rouge slightly. The entire curbing will count as track, but you must keep all 4 wheels on the track. Basically, don't do this:

Additionally, these will be the places I will be looking for (as well as the final chicane, but that's too obvious) for cars going off the track to gain time:

Don't do any of those.

If you accidently cut a corner or run wide, just lift off the gas (completely) for a second.

If you have any questions, please ask them now.

When I first did that up, I was planning on a full formation lap, so it's just 23.

Contrary to real life NASCAR, this series could maybe do with some more created ~1,5 mule tracks (was that an intentional typo? I never got the answer).

My Pocono?

You could improve that by making it actually turn left like a real oval to be fair, plus the final turn has a little too much elevation. It's alright though.
