Well, since he can earn full value of his points and 2/3 towards me. Maybe like you suggested with Suzuka, have him earn my 2/4pts for that race? I would be interested to see if that would possibly keep me on the border for making the chase despite if I don't race again. How do the standings look? Is that idea too far off? If it is a long shot, then nevermind he will only earn his own points. I can't see the standings here at work. Can someone tell me how far off I am now and would be if Matty did earn me points (cough....Droptop)?

Oh okay, I was wondering why. I knew there had to be some kinda confusion. Thats ok though. Well with me at 39 and the chase spot is 55. Thats 16points needed within two races. So it would maybe, maybe like remotely work if you won, got pole and most laps led LOL. So nevermind, just take it and run with it Matty and good luck 👍!

Suzuka East is a Chase race, so gaining points from that race wouldn't help you get in to the Chase. Given your current total, and the likelihood that everyone above you is still going to be gaining points in the last two events, your only realistic chance to make the Chase from here would be to win a race that you drove for yourself and pass ACDC in points for the last wild card spot. If you want to get 2/3 points from Matty at some point in the season, I think the best way to maximize that one race would be to have him race for you at Suzuka East. His 4th place at HSR was very impressive.

To be honest, I was incredibly lucky in HSR, missed the L1 incident narrowly and had only just accidentally put together a decent tune for it.. If I had known then what I know now I'd be more prepared ;)

I think I would have done alot better if I had not plowed into knelly off the last turn in the first few laps.

Yeah, sorry that you (or anyone) got caught up with my spin.

Just managed a pitstop at SSRX after 2.07 👍

Are we staying with 8 laps or going back to the full 10?

Yes, if the pit road issues are fixed, we will revert back to the original full-distance race. This weekend's race at SS Route X will be 188 miles over 10 laps.

I can confirm that they are. So therefore full race distance :D

In late-breaking news from the JGR team shop, word has leaked out that Furi will be piloting the #11 FedEx Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing this weekend at SS Route X.

The #11 appears to be my ride for all time  :D

I bet to... Well seeing as I wont be needed. I'll enjoy my weekend then.. Good luck to all this weekend.

I wasnt going to be available, but some last minute things happen causing me to have to stay in town.. Its not a big deal tho.

Well 🤬. You could see if Crazy still needs a third driver for HMS for tomorrow if you are interested in racing. Last I heard, all three HMS drivers were out, and only Matty and Carb were lined up to drive. See if Crazy still has a third seat available. 👍

Well that's one SSRX win this weekend in the Indycars. Let's see if we can make it two :sly:

Can't trust my connection now, so I might not be much of a use for my Chase spot chasing teammate if anything goes wrong. :indiff:

Found the reason for my NW lag, just received word that my provider is experiencing some difficulties in my area. Hopefully it should be fixed in my area before the race; I'd appreciate it if you guys would take a look at me on track pre-race and see if I'm good or not.

If I'm lagging too badly I'll get somebody to take 2/3 points for me.

It'd probably only show under race conditions, so we'd find out in the qualifying race.
