Nope, just means you can talk trash, have no common sense and get into fights with drivers like Jeff Gordon. The resemblance is striking. :sly:

Hey I'm the one who drove the 18 in Nationwide last season.

Furinkazen
Yeah sorry James, some better offers came up... about to go and make an NW announcement. :D

Its fine I will just work my but off to get a ride by august.

This would belong in the S4 thread but it's locked. How long would the 400 miler last?

I'm asking this because I really want to get that thing finished so I can get maximum points from Grand Slams.

I had been chatting with Carb all day about our third team mate, and monitoring our prospects during that time, and I can vouch that Litchi had just gotten online for the first time only a few minutes before Carb signed him. I'm sure that's where the confusion came from.

I'm sorry Furi but I'm to have a public serious go at you, my friend.

Today folks, Furinkazen offered me the chance to be a 'part-time Sprint Cup driver.'

I said 'Sure but Carb will mad though.'

He replies back 'I've got two other drivers interested.'

I replied back 'Uh, I'm better off in the Nationwide instead with Carb.'

---

Earlier today, Furi hired james6653, a perfectly respectable S1 Nationwide driver for his team. Already, he has fired him after giving and promising him a seat for S2.

---

I have no time to deal with impatient, indecisive and drivers who can't be upfront with me. For an owner to do this, just amazes me really. He promises me something but then bam, gives a catch.

My team owner in Sprint Cup this year (when Crazy left temporarily) was Carb. He would be upfront in saying. Hey, 'there is a seat open for you this Saturday.' I would say yes/no and it would be done. No catches, no gimmicks.

---

Furi seriously?

I have something else worked out.

@ Chqr, I know exactly what i'm doing and I am serious. No need to be as sharp, especially when its not your team. And I was told you wanted to do part time by matty.

I did want to be a 'part-time Sprint Cup driver,' but not under your watch after seeing how you've treated one of your drivers already and one prospective one. 👎

Now I've got Carb again, really just helps me appreciate what the guy's done for me really compared to you. 👍

Oh, yeah and where has Matty gone? 👍

And who has Akmuq wanting to drive for him, two NW drivers confirmed, and three more on standby? - oh and all of those drivers barring ONE (spurgy) asked me for a seat.

Let's dissect this further shall we.

1. Akmuq had no other viable choices. The poor sod was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He's definitely SC material and he isn't the kinda guy who'll take a slide into a lower-tier Championship.

2. Two NW drivers confirmed? - Great to hear. Have you seen Hendrick?

3. Three more on standby? - Great to hear. Let's hope we don't end up with drivers wanting to full-time schedules but you'll only give them part-time schedules in the NATIONWIDE. :ill:

---

The point I'm making is that don't tell drivers one thing without giving them the whole situation and don't make promises to drivers who you end up breaking.

My turn. I was asked for Akmuq yes and gave him the seat, jealous you don't have him are we?

At least 1 full time NW car (#42) - from a very strong racer who's been RECOMMENDED by a SPrint Cup driver who is not even on my team.

A VERY good racer (Spurgy) who on pace will kick anyone's @ss and I have full confidence.

James has been kind enough to be flexible and does have option of a full time seat should my current targeted person not reply.

Chqr. Just because you've won a Thunder title doesn;t mean you own the place. How about you ask your boss Carb - because your not running a show here.

Let's not get pathetic here, he's made valid points and you've responded with some pretty childish remarks.

Are you 4 years old?

I'll be open. I'm jealous of a lot of drivers here haha.

Spurgy's a nice guy. I agree.

News to me. You've finally come to your senses. I just wanted his voice to made clear. You fired him an hour ago. He's a perfectly capable S1 Nationwide driver and you promised him a seat and got rid of him because you wanted spurgy or someone else haha. Of course, the other point I'm making is how you dealt with me and matty so nice. :indiff:

I've never had an argument with another GTP driver / racer than you concerning off-race conduct. :indiff: And I can pull out the filing cabinet and find others who have had arguments with you.

I do not own the place. That is true. I just think you should be more frank with your drivers and prospective drivers.

I'm just glad to be the one to make this point clear to the public forum and embarrass you really. I've done nothing wrong but merely state my opinion (which I'm entitled to do) supported with evidence really.

We both agree to disagree and move on, we've our own races to prepare for - I want the season to be remembered for on track.

NOOOO!!!!

I'm really sorry, Furi. I honestly tried not to say it, but I was afraid I was gonna pop a blood vessel or something:lol::lol:

Edit: nevermind, I was missing the Red Bull drivers, I'm caught up now. :P

I just want to say this, which was my understanding of things involving a PM sent by me.

My plan and I sent this to Furi was: (Additional stuff in brackets)
Matty
You 100% have a choice at having a team if you want it. Most likely a two car team.

If you don't pick a team seat which I don't think you will, I will give you a seat.

If you pass you will 100% have a seat with me and Chqr can fill in the Grand Slam races. (Understanding was Furi was going to start and park the Grand Slams but that Chqr wanted to do them, seemed fair and worked out perfect.)

I have tunes for most tracks. DS3 tunes for some.

You make your choice tomorrow, PM me first when you think you have made a decision so I can try sort stuff out. (Meaning of I was owner get Nationwide drivers, if not owner get a few seats lined up to pick from.)

All I have to input in this for now, that was my plan, in the end had a seat at JGR, RBR and SGR. Went for Red Bull as I think PartyHat is a very good promising driver who will help me a lot in this coming season in getting faster, slightly held up by team orders (Not having a go at MÜLE, just how I see it.) and that we could put up a good fight.

Not trying to start anything about anyone, you need to give out to me about this, go right ahead, just do it in PM's.

The first argument of the new season, and we havn't even made it over to the new thread yet! Classic!

Ok, here's my Season 4 goals: (besides the obvious 'whoop Niop')

Top 5's I'm not gonna worry about the win's right away, really need to string together a few top 5's to establish a good points base, then re-evaluate

HAVE FUN. No more getting ticked off at you guys over stupid race incedents. When I'm not angry, this is the most fun racing on GTP. Whenever I lose my cool, I wanna find your homes and smash your modems--that's not fun. So I'm forbidding myself from getting ticked off, regardless of the situation. It's a game, after all, and we are all only here to enjoy it.

That's it for now. When I'm convinced those goals are complete, then I will commence on whoopin' on Niop.:gtpflag:

Updated all-time Sprint Cup stats:

EXcN0.jpg

Expect a huge stats post tomorrow afternoon.

Here's a picture from the very first lap of this season's Daytona 500. We're 1 lap into a 928 lap season, and we're already 4-wide. A wreck is actually already taking place in this picture, as Joe got bounced up into the wall, and is about to slide back down into traffic, triggering the big one.

And here is a picture of the very end of the 928th and final lap of the season, as Niop and myself drag race to the most historic stripe of bricks on earth. This image represents the winning margin in the team owner's championship. Had Niop beaten me to the line, SGR would have gained 2 points and JGR would have lost 2 points. The final team totals would have had SGR beating JGR by a single point, 362 to 361 points.

I may be inclined to do stats again from where I left off. I just need to update NW which won't be hard since its well organized. Same for SC stats. Droptop does a very good job of keeping up on SC stats so I won't be doing any detailed work with that. I may however keep the combined career stats that culmentates trucks, Nw n SC. I may do just that and post in the NW thread weekly. Everyone can go there in both divisions to see all time GTP nascar stats. I could include GTP Vintage Nascar n GTP nascar Thunder too if u would like. Thoughts? Or stick to only the big three trucks, sc n nw? Bed time, ill check back tomorrow

I can't guarantee my work will look as good as Chqr's, but I do have a Google Docs sheet for Drivers Points made, and will have one for Team Points soon. And posting results and fastest lap, etc is as easy as taking pictures with my ipod.
