Yeah, with only 5 really showing up this season, it was kind of a weird Chase.

With 7 out of 14 locked in on points, the top half of the field is already in the Chase, even before the 8th place wild card driver gets in on a win (with good attendance), or on total points. Imagine the Sprint Cup locking in 21 out of their 43 drivers on points.

You make a fair point mate, it would be ridiculous to make the Chase field any bigger by that logic

If we kept the percentages the same (12 of 43 drivers) for our series, we would take 4 out of 14 drivers for the Chase, and the 13th and 14th place drivers would probably start-and-park every week.

This season Joe had 7 straight podiums, that's insane. And I was able to lead a lap in every race I participated in.

With another 15-race season coming up, I expect most of these records to be toppled next season. I don't take too many of my records from Season 1 too seriously (especially most Top-5's and Top-10's), as the fields were much smaller, and it was much easier to get top 5 finishes, and impossible to finish outside the top 10 in almost every single week (there was one race with 12 drivers, at Daytona, in week 8 of S1).

I think the 4 most impressive stats on there are Niop's 8 poles in 11 starts (S2), Joe's 9 podiums in 13 races (S3), homeslice's 11 Top-5 finishes in 12 races (S2), and me leading the most laps in 6 out of 13 races (S3).

Those total numbers might fall if we keep running-15 race seasons in the future, but the rates should be very hard to beat. If you prorate those stats out to 15-race seasons, Niop had 11 poles, Joe had 10.4 podiums, Homeslice had 13.75 top 5s, and I led the most laps in 7 out of 15 races. Those are crazy numbers.
