Results

I've tested all four trucks at Daytona with a very similar setup and here's my raw data findings. All four trucks are brand new from the OCD and run in from 200 to 500 miles.

700BHP limited / 1550kg minimum weight

S3 Trucks Spec with Superchargers

Dodge 53.327 (racing exhaust)
Ford 50.414 (racing exhaust)
Chevy 49.869 (sports exhaust)
Toyota 49.842 (50kg ballast + sports exhaust)

S3 Trucks Spec without Superchargers

Dodge Far Too Slow
Ford 52.178 (racing exhaust)
Chevy 51.583 (sports exhaust)
Toyota 51.507 (50kg ballast + sports exhaust)

I recommend increasing the BHP to 720 BHP / 1550kg Weight

and this is what I found...

Dodge 52.718 (racing exhaust)
Ford 51.978 (racing exhaust)
Chevy 51.583 (sports exhaust)
Toyota 51.507 (50kg ballast + sports exhaust)

My Conclusion

Do not let these times fool you and here's why!:

1. The Ford was fastest at Indy Oval in Furi's Open Lobby today with the new testing package.
2. The Dodge was fastest at Motegi Oval in Furi's Open Lobby yesterday with the new testing package.
2. I will test at Indy Oval and Motegi Oval tomorrow
3. The Dodge is plain fast in the draft. Its 4WD handling really shows around the corners where everyone has to lift more in the dirty air.
4. I will use the Dodge this season.

I've been working at Daytona today working on a package which for Daytona which has led me to this.

Chevrolet - No supercharger, sports exhaust.
Dodge - Supercharger, racing exhaust.
Ford - No supercharger, racing exhaust.
Toyota - No supercharger, sports exhaust.

720 BHP / 1550kg Minimum Weight.

Why is this testing needed you may ask?

1. There has been complaints about the Toyota's pace. The removal of the supercharger has evened it up immensely.
2. Wouldn't it be more exciting to draft Dodge into this to create a real Nascar feel.
3. Without the Dodge, the Ford is lacking in pace anyway compared to the Chevy and Toyota.

Please do not treat the Daytona times as what car is fastest because they're not.

Not too dissimilar to my results. With supercharger the Ford is on Toyota pace and presumably Dodge. The Chevy WITHOUT supercharger still flies down straights, but struggles in turns.

At Motegi I'd breeze around the outside of gokartman's Toyota, but lose so much straightening it up.

Also Toyota has added weight now of 1570.

Overall Chqr's results seem to tally up pretty well with the final specs I have revealed above, good work man 👍

Well it's not too hard to do, you've just got to stick at it for a while as right turning tracks are slightly more common.

I recommend swapping the 2nd race with the 5th race in the calendar.

Back to back crapshoots in the season opener is just asking for a massive morale downturn. 👎

It was a typo, meant Monster Raceway. I'll consider it for the NASCAR Japan 100 though...

Drop I know wanted Pocono in from the beginning, and it is a good track. Iowa is a short track, Monster is my Martinsville.

Phoenix Report

Very well designed oval and very much deserves a race or two on our calendar. It mimicks Phoenix well with a slight dog leg even going into turn 3.

Dodge was fast but also were the Toyotas. Only 1 Chevrolet (Furinkazen) was present but was an exciting race with Fords in amongst the action.

Daytona Report

Extremely tight finishes with all manufacturers bar Chevrolet (Only 1 driven by Furinkazen) winning.

The Toyotas were best at pushing but the Fords were best at taking pushes.
Dodges were second best at pushing whilst the Chevrolet were second best at taking pushes.

Same manufacturer pushes worked well too.

Toyota's take a while to get to speed but can push very well.
Chevy very effective pusher.
Ford not liking being pushed
Dodge not good at being pushed.

Totally agree with your observations.

Dodge is a good soloist really too. At the start with a very long gear setup, I hammered it to the front from sixth with its Supercharger. It utilises draft well and sucks it up dragging its enormous weight with it.

If anyone wants to drive for Dodge, PM me. I have a lot of setups. Three which are complete and ready to ship. I also have my Toyota S3 setups which will be useful as I came 3rd at Indy and 3rd at Monster in S3's feature races. Of course, I have lots of testing and times with other trucks too.
