GTP Rolex | Season 5 | Complete! Help Plan!

Apparently the challenge at the very end uses the GT-R GT3, so we'll get to find out how race cars handle.

Yea, I heard that you used to be able to advance time and drive it :P

Bummer you can't do it now, but oh well.

Hopefully we get a nice grid this weekend.

NEXT WEEKEND IS AN OFF WEEK.

I'll be running DP for the remainder of the season.

I also will not be at the race on the 27th.

Thanks for the head's up. I'll be opening the room today and praying it all works out. With Lancer going DP, a Viper spot has opened up!

Got in a room to have a 15 lap K Car race. Guy had practice going for over an hour, by the time I remembered this, it was way too late. See you in two weeks.

Nice, clean and fun battle guys.....very very fun race!!

Nice race ant! I'm going to count your points in GT and just not add them to the Ferrari Team points.

To show the need to not make mistakes... Storm and myself's fastest laps were 2:01.1's and Anthony's was a 2:01.4!

But a very fun race, points to be updated soon!

I reckon I could've broken 2:00 had I not left an extra 20 kg on my car. I was half a second slower than my fastest time tonight with 1300 kg just now, so I'm guessing 30 kg is about half a second per lap around Nur GP/F...

Good racing, and was close for a while, but I think myself and Polar were pushing too hard when we didn't really need to, and made mistakes. Polar and I are discussing an extra 10 bhp for the other GT cars, because it just seems like the other cars are lacking too much in one area compared to the Ferrari, either not enough speed, or worse cornering...

Yea, the 10 HP to every car except the Ferrari should be a good start.

Don't want to over do it (Camaro S2)

Sorry about not racing, had a family cookout that came about last minute. :guilty:

How will points be handled? I did actually make it to the grid before disconnecting, or will we not be given any DP points since ant drove gt after I couldn't connect.

Did you make it? It was either really close or you didn't... I don't have you down for any points now.

Another question is:

You didn't make it to the grid of the race we completed, so...

Well I did grid once. I'm not too sure if that counts or not

Join join join!

And remember, a viper spot has opened for the rest of the season!

It will have to be on alternate weekends starting the week after this weekend for me, since next Saturday I have a 3-hour World Endurance Championship race around Le Mans.

Who took the viper spot? Can we make it so Lancer and I basically switched?

Went out of town on a last minute decision last week. Was considering bringing my ps3 with me but then it would have meant playing with a ds3. 👎

Well, after a little more practice on GTA2013, if I go a second quicker, I end up being top 600 in the UK... Still a LOOOOOONG way off top 16, it's got me considering buying a wheel when I eventually buy GT6. Also, anyone noticed that the top 10 basically go "**** the apex!" and just fling the cars into the corners? It's almost like they're mixing drifting with driving....

Totally! I've managed to get up 106th in the UK at the moment but still 2 seconds off of the UK leader. . The key to getting the car round the corner quicker is brake lift off over steer. Inducing a small drift. Then getting back on the throttle to settle the car, then accelerating but without overloading the rears. Very tricky to do, I've only just started to get the hang of it.

Not sure who you are, but hey!

I think I'm going to give it another go today.

Where I lost my time was onto the first DRS zone (Wellington I believe) I kept messing up the hairpin before... Like really bad. I was equal to the best time (at the time) until then and I was gone after that.

And storm, for wheels, do yourself a favor and DO NOT get a cheap wheel. The experience isn't even in the same world with a nice wheel!

Well I'm hoping a wheel makes me about 2-3 seconds quicker, and Sports Hard tyres aren't something I run on frequently, so I really have to adjust to that as well... I reckon that if I gave a good wheel a look, I'll be comfortable for GTA 2014; this year I'm clearly seeing that I'm just not ready for it. DS3 has neither the throttle control nor the steering control of a wheel, and given I drive IRL, I think I'd be more comfortable with a wheel.

It takes a good weekend to get used to the wheel, and once you go wheel, you won't go back!

Just did a 2:21.7 in the time trial! 840th in US!
