I lost 3/10 in Beckett's on my 2.20.9 lap also. I was going to be even faster.

Lol, but with the new physics I think that the gap between controller and wheel will widen. Which is kinda a bummer

I think so too. Setup will be a bigger factor. I think with tire wear will play a much bigger role in the way that the top of the list guys were basically drifting around the track. That will be faster, but it won't last because of tire wear.

The drifting was on this game too.

But hopefully the tire wear won't be 7 laps again....

That was pd's dumbest idea ever if I say so myself.
 
To be honest, if they had a system where they took into consideration the type of event, you could have situations like in Le Mans, where tyres last 3 hours and F1, where they last about 10-15 laps before they drop off.

That would eliminate the "racing hard" or "sports medium" compound terminology making the game much easier to balance in terms of series. Maybe allowing wider tires as a BoP method like in real life will be there. I highly doubt it though.

Yea the gtr is a pain in the rump to drive. It understeers like no other

It's weird because it was better at cornering in the beginning of the turns than the 370, but then it all goes wrong very quickly!

The initial turn in is good, but there is no rotation of the car through the center whereas the 370 has a fair amount of oversteer.

I'm down to a 2.20.4 btw :)

I keep thinking GT5 Prologue is the best (graphics) between GT5 - GT5 Prol - GT6..., about the physics GT6 is better but, come on, seems an update of GT5, nothing more. I don't want to say nothing about the AI, but nothing gonna change, because the limits of PS3. IMO I think this game is "GT5 FULL GAME", not GT6!

I think the same way. When gt_ comes out on the Ps4, we'll see if they fix all the big problems.

Well given you guys (Polar especially) have gone another 2 seconds faster than when you first tried it, there's still hope that I can improve somewhat.

Anyway:

I decided to practice a little bit for next week's race. Already thinking I can hit the 1:40's in the Ferrari, I'm not far off it now.
