Also, can we not carry on even if Polar's not around? Just a question, seeing as I might not be able to attend a race in 2 weeks... but will I be given lee way?

Thanks guys. I'm in a bit of a slump with Round 3 and 4 because I've started writing again elsewhere, but if we're having off-weeks, I can bring things up to speed pretty quickly. Also, I'm not as thorough about the tracks and setups as I used to be... I don't think Polar and I have really spoken about setups and tracks all that much.

In seasons 1 and 2 for sure (3 maybe..) I used to never have off weeks. I had Cnd, storm and damu to hold down the fort every week and things were very consistent.
However during those times, one of the ideas was to make it fortnightly, or have weeks off built into the schedule. I'm using this as a test more/less to make things in the future better.
The people we have now have been around for awhile now (I don't think there was one new sign up this season) and I can't say I hate it. I don't like that DP is as big of a struggle to get drivers, but I have some ideas for Future games to make that different. Half the drivers here are stewards, and I did that for a reason. I'm trying things out this season I wouldn't in other seasons because the people here I think are doing this for the same reason I am (to stay in touch, if you will, with each other) trying to keep the 'gang' together so we can keep racing together!
Ill be honest, if guys like tbw, storm, damu, Anthony, FH, Ross, tex didn't do this, I probably wouldn't. No offense to the newer guys, I just named the people that have done a few seasons. This season is really just a filler to gt6 really, and hopefully that opens more options for us car wise! Even if it has the perfect cars, I won't do it if most of you guys don't do it. Honestly, it wouldn't be the same without you all.

I respect the loyalty to the guys but my problem is... surely if one has an off-week. That would disadvantage others, because if they needed an off week but they couldn't have one, because host didn't have one? Thats why I'm uncertain of having off weeks mid season.

Well this'll probably be my last season for a while anyway, be it GT5 or GT6. I want to get my 🤬 together IRL, get my life moving in a good direction.
Anyway, since this season's bang on the summer break, and clearly some guys here have missed one/two races or will miss a few races. It might ease things up a little if we just have a drop race. I'm trying to find a middle-ground here....

I don't think a drop round would be fair at this point. I would have really liked to have said that before the season started.
We actually may be able to race this Sat. The last part of the trip may be a bit shorter than planned because of a boat race that drove hotel prices through the roof xD

Only reason I mentioned drop race is because we've already had guys who've missed a race(s) anyway and drop race could be used for one of those races they missed/going to miss, but oh well.

Turns out I will have some Internet. Not much, but a little.
If everyone is pretty prepared for the race this week, I think we will be good to go. However, if everyone would like another week off, that's cool with me.
Again; with FH bailing on DP, we really, really, really, really need DP drivers.
I may PM some guys again. I hate doing it, but I don't want another GT only race

I would rejoin but I'm still inexperienced for this series. I just plan on staying with Global GT until I get better...
In the OP you got 13 drivers (not incliding me) and 6 DP, so I don't know what is the problem with it

Sorry Polar but, if DP class has two drivers I am not going to race because is not fun and I feel like I am wasting my time. If this race only two or three cars I prefer race in GT and I don´t care the points, I only want have fun!!

I understand. I'm trying to get more DP, but it seems like it's not working. It is very good that you have a GT car ready to go though, makes things much quicker!
Since no one said anything, I take it we will not race this weekend and pick up the following?
