GTP Rolex | Season 5 | Complete! Help Plan!

6th December.

I also saw Brands Hatch and Goodwood in the trailer. :dopey:

Hopefully that means that maybe 50 or so tacks may be done, with most variants (e.g. Daytona, Suzuka & Monza) being "1 track"

Brands hatch and Silverstone... Maybe we will see a BTCC car or two? I sure hope so!!! Also, that's a really good point about some tracks becoming "one" track. That may make the track list really rise!

Apricot Hill alone makes it worth it. Apricot Hill with time change makes it EPIC.

The rest is just icing on the cake.

One of my favorites! I think the majority of courses will have time and weather change this go around. I hope we see some more tracks too. If what Damu said turned out to be true, we very well may see a handful more tracks!

Bathurst anyone? :D

Finally an Australian track :D but not happy that there is no V8 Supercar content :(.

I would take a V8 supercar or two and bathurst everyday that ends in Y!

I don't really like how we are getting these electric cars though :(

We still have the old 2000 AU and the road Commodore, to thrash it with. (More like it will thrash you but anyway..)

The Scirocco cup car is as close to a real touring car we have had for a while... So I'll take that :D. (320i BMW is a bit out dated but still fun)

iRacing gets the NGTC Honda Civic at some point this year so I'm told.. (For those who don't know what this is check my profile for the Pirtek Honda Civic, which is my profile pic)

Saw a thread on iRacing about the HSV (Super GT500) and the Civic.

Apparently the HSV is next to impossible to get engineering data for, so it's all but not coming anymore.

The Civic has been tricky to get data for, but is apparently coming along.

Next up is The RUF and Bathurst and/or Fontana

Well they said they had Honda BTCC (Aka Team Dynamics) providing the specs of the car etc..

With the variations in boost (340-360bhp is all I know of and this was from Toyota, 340bhp and BMW, 360bhp) I'm curious to see if they'll run it to it's full potential or what it currently runs in BTCC. I guess since the Honda gets beat by the Toyota it has less than 340bhp currently..

BTCC certainly let the NGTC cars loose this year though, last year in the last of the balanced years, with the slower S2000 cars they barely went above 315bhp. :scared:

Might probe a few more teams for their bhps etc at Knockhill this weekend..

Edit: Wierd about the HSV though, considering now it's defunct machinery. For 2014 Super GT they are replacing it with a new Hybrid NSX...

Maybe the Holden and the FPV GT. (Mind blown for a V8 Supercar Championship Idea).

I think iracing as a whole asks for stuff teams don't want to give up. I'm sure they have all the power and stuff, but they probably want really specific stuff.

That's the reason there isn't a "real" F1 car, and our P2 (old p2 specs, about current P1 speed) car doesn't have traction control.

The hsv doesn't bother me though, it would be dated by the time it came out, although it sounds and looks awesome. Probably had to do with not many teams using the car. Who knows why.

@resh, I would probably wait until GT6 to start a new series. A bit late in the game to start anything new now.

Or make an official announcement that we're going to be the first series on GT6. ;)

I'm in for this Rolex race if it's same time, this week. /on-topic.

Global GT might be the last for GT5 as we are doing one more season (though depending on the date, it could be a mini-season) ;).

Well, ITCC is scheduled to end the week before GT6's release. Then, there may be about half a month for everyone to get their GT6 cars/budget for ITCC, then the gloves come off for Season IV. ;)

So, yeah, ITCC IV is going to happen. :D

And this is the Rolex thread. :dunce: Why are we still on about GGT and ITCC here?

To the mods, I'm trying here...

If you're waiting half a month after GT6 comes out, you won't be the first series by a long shot. ;)

I might wait 1-3 months, depends on when I get the cars for speccing (and I'll be on Christmas holiday :D).

You have about 5 hours to be the first series.

Honesty don't know my plans for GT6. I wouldn't mind a LMP1/2 and gt3 series.

I would like to do another Conti series too, but don't know if I have the time.

I still reckon a LMP and the Nissan R390 or Zonda R as one for the P class and the GT3 cars for the GTD class.

Your not the only series going to use GT3 cars :).

That CTSCC series was fun, it would be great to bring it back.

We can still hope that maybe there will be an actual DP in the game.

I'd rather see Conti back.

ITCC4 thread will be up five minutes after the release of GT6, if not sooner.

And on-topic, which Audi am I supposed to buy/tune?

The 4.2. Aka- season 1 sweepers xD

I think I may have enjoyed continental just as much, if not more than Rolex. It was at a pretty nice time too.... Mel.... Kinda stole the thunder there....

Only thing is I'm sorta over multi class, would love to do either a GS or ST series, but seems like everyone wants the true multi class deal.

Is there a spot open for the Viper tonight? I tuned one that is glued to the road (for me) on sports: med tires :D

There is in deed a spot open!

Lets get a list:

DP

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.

GT

1. Polar
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.

I'll take that spot then. Just gotta tweak the ACR for the aero (didn't realize it was required)

edit: anyone on gt5 now that minds practicing with me for a bit?

Also, does anyone add extra performance parts then detune? I've tuned with no power upgrades, only weight, ballast, and the trans, drivetrain, and suspension of course. I'm just wondering because of the way the engine power limiter doesn't affect torque as much as hp
