I'll open the room early again this week and if we have issues we can always switch. My internet isn't terrible, 10 mb/s down and ~2 up.

I think trying the public room could solve it.

I honestly think there's very little we can do, apart from starting a new room when one is glitchy. When I first joined on Saturday and tried to go on track my screen loaded for 5 mins and I had to turn off my PS3, that along with the other DC's in free run were signs a new room was needed. Often it can be fixed with a room change, but you have to be vigilant of these things.

Mega dissapointed though GT6 servers are worse than GT5's, was hoping for an improvement; everyone was.

Are you guys talking about servers or lobbies? Polar is usually good about kicking randoms out. Only thing that sucks about being the host is you have to pay attention to who comes into the lobby. Back then it would suck because if you were qualifying you would have to leave the track to kick them. But now that we have the in game qualifying feature, I guess it should not be as big of a problem. Just have to cross our fingers that no randoms jump in during the count down for qualifying to start.

Yep, I hate Syracuse. Only because they are always soooo good. Jaw just dropped to the floor.

I didn't notice the sun at all. I'm glad that we are rerunning Daytona, I made too many mistakes in the 2nd half of the race. Plus I haven't had time too practice at Silverstone this week due to watching too much of the Olympics (I always end up being glued to the tv when curling is on).

For work, I am a land surveyor. But lately work has been slow. So they have been sending us out with the guys who dig up utilities (real pain in the 🤬). We usually dig them up in the middle of a road. Anyway, there have been many times where we dig up a hole, and the thing would just instantly fill with water and the hole would start to collapse on itself. Our solution was to just fill it back up with dirt. One time we came up to a hole and it was literally a cave underneath the road.

We got a ton of sinkholes during our 2012 flood here in Northern MN. Some road with concrete surfaces dating back to 1940s caved in with massive holes, bigger than the Corvette hole above. It was totally nuts, I went for a ride on my road bike 2 days after the rain ended, and there was rivers/streams flowing across highways, totally rad. I had to take a long shower and wash my cloths on heavy to make sure I got all the sewer 🤬 off me.

What was so cool about it though was the fact that areas 800 feet above Lake Superior were flooded, normally all the water goes down since its a steep incline.
