GTP United Sports Car Championship | Season 6 | Series Finished!Finished

I think I mainly won due to my early pit stop (and cnd disconnecting :indiff:). If you pitted during a caution, you would've won.
I was thinking of following you in, but I thought it was better to pit at lap 36. Mustard did the very same thing and still won, although it's mostly because Tex hadn't pit yet.

What I did wrong was not waiting until the end of the race. Me pitting with 10 to go (and having a painfully slow pit stop) just put me too far back to gain. I had to have been 20+ seconds back.

But nice job dude. You earned it!

With the glitch tires it was just too much, you had to run on the first tires as long as possible on the DW, on other cars its different but with that particular car the tire glitch made you too slow, I think I was 3-4 secs off my fastest laps always with the glitch tires.

Thanks, I'll remember this race forever in my GTP career :) and with that note along with our 1-2 we are the GT team champions, I think???

But are you sure it is fair to penalize boy wonder? Maybe I need to look at the replay in the end.

Same here. Not as bad, but I wasn't going close to my optimal at the end.

So sad to see this series end.

Oddly my car seemed to be better after the pit stop. But I think some of that was I was used to the handling of the car, since I horribly missed on the setup. Oh well at least I finally won a race this season after trying for 5 seasons.

Congrats Rich S and polarbear345 on the final championships!

This may just be another extended break. I've been doing this for so long I don't know I can stop quite honestly..[/quote]
Message me Polar.

For everyone wondering why I was in front at the start of the last lap, as I thought the race finished the first time after the leader had crossed the finish line, I have just heaved on the handbrake, into a flick spin, realizing that I have won, but suddenly, it doesn't go to the end of race screen with points and the such, and @RESHIRAM5 passes me for the lead, and eventually goes on to win :(

I don't think you should've done that in the first place.

Great memories, even though I was an immature brat back then . I want to drive the Nissan again :(.

I started the tradition when my friend, who is probably the funniest guy you'all ever meet (bar me:sly:) found the hand brake on ToCA/V8 super cars 3 and that is all he would ever use, and he would never finish a race because he'd ass around, so at the end of the race I'd flick spin and let him win, just to get a laugh!

It's sad to see the end of the WMA Rolex series. :sly:

But seriously, it was fun guys, I'll miss racing with you all.

To me, this season reminded me of season 2. I have to say that I think S4 was our best season in terms of participation. Seasons 2 and 3 we were having a solid 10 guys week in and week out. By season 4, there were a solid 12 guys doing it.

I'd like to see the same GT3 cars returning. Also, possibly a different setup for P. Could it be possible to get two Group C cars with a Peugeot and then the DW for a lot of variety? I know specs would be difficult, but I think we could do it. I'd have to jump back into P if the Sauber was put back in.

For a theoretical S7, what would you guys like to see?

Some variety on P would be nice, one-makes are only more fun when tuning is prohibited. And myself on GT, since that was my original plan when entering this series.

Yeah I agree, 2 or even 3 "P" cars would be nice. I think its better to try and give people something to pick from, being locked into one car that by the way happened to be very difficult to get to grips with lowered participation a great deal, heck even I at times couldn't handle the thing. That doesn't mean DW should be dropped if we do another season, but I think there should be an R18 or a 908 out there purely for the sake of variety. And perhaps we could do Monza and Spa again dropping Twin Ring which to me is like a steak and potatoes track.

For the 100000000000000 time :P - Deltawing P class car vs Mclaren F1 GTR DP. Then you get base models as well.

That's a possibility. There's a bunch you could go with. I'm still waiting on that massive aggressive DLC packages PD has been talking about for some actual tracks too
