GTP United Sports Car Championship | Season 6 | Series Finished!Finished 

I only just started playing GT6 (got it Yesterday (my time)).

What would the race start AEST?

All the schools are shut down here because it was -30 F in the morning. I bet in New Orleans or Florida Keys they shut school down if there's a frost or a cool breeze blowing. :lol:

I was watching the Bengals/Chargers game and it was raining! Crazy the temperature difference between here/there. I remember growing up people water skipping on snowmobiles, not this year! It's one of those years for this:

I doubt my school will shut down. The assistant principles at my school are dumb as hell no matter what the weather is.

On topic: Last week, I tested out the DeltaWing (Stock) at Road-Daytona, and it was a massive handful to drive. The first 6 laps I tested with it, I either spun the DeltaWing at the Kink, or at the end of the Bus Stop chicane. The car will easily oversteer if you steer too much through any corner.

Yeah, everything around me is shut down also. It's supposed to get to -25 around here with the wind tomorrow. Kind of makes me sad how all you guys are talking about not going to school. I get to take the day off of work. I was telling my wife earlier how all the Canadians are laughing at us right now...and then saying sorry for laughing at us.

I'll be taking advantage of the day by testing online. I think I have most if not all of you on my friends list. You guys are more than welcome to join.

Oh, and I think Resh would be perfect for the Audi. Donuts at Daytona :lol:

It was only -15 wind chills here today, its not as bad as what some of you have but its still too cold for me. I heard on the news tonight that on some mountain in North Carolina that the wind chill there tonight was -103.

I'm still getting through the GT6 campaign.

What's so special about the Audi that makes me perfect for it (haven't drove it yet)?
 
Me and FH are testing cars right now. If you guys want to join it might be easier to find us via the friends' lobbies thing, or search for a Daytona Road Course lobby.

Edit: Just finished, but I still have the lobby open. It's friend's only, so if you can't see it at all, you're probably gonna need to add me on PSN...

Nah I went after FH had to leave too. Left it on for 30 mins but then I took a break. FH might be on later though, his wife had come back from somewhere so he spend time with the family I guess. :)
 
That was really fun today. I get on almost every day, but I'm aiming for Friday as being my next date to tune/test specifically for this series. I usually mess around with lower PP cars during the week. Find me online if you guys want to get together. 👍
 
The only car I got that can run this ATM is my BMW Z4 GT3 but it is very unstable.

EDIT: Never mind. Found a good tune for it.

You need to iron out its inadequacies, its not a bad car though really ( I mean the tuning menu. :)). A GT Academy guy raced it last year, I think it was Ordonez. I wonder how it compares, probably not so loose on stock. Alot of the endurance sports cars in GT6 are unstable which is pretty weird as I here nothing but nice things about their life counterparts.

The Peugeot 908 is pretty stable.
 
Alright guys here's the scoop:

This weekend was going to be my spec everything weekend... Until I learned my midterms/finals are next week! So, specs have been pushed back a week on my end, which means the first preseason is also pushed back a week. I know some of you guys have been testing on your own, so If you have any results please shoot them my way.

Here is the ideal schedule in dates:

Weekend of Jan. 18- My specing
Jan 25- First preseason race at ______ (You guys can choose)
Jan 31- Second Preseason race at ________ (Again, vote)
First weekend in February- Season begins
 
I won't be here for Jan 25 (going on a vacation to Perth).

However, if the season is starting on February I guess I can make it full time.
