Of course! We consider the 3D3 Racing Garage a community resource. Of course if you are never going to race with us again I'll change my mind. :sly:

Yeah, yeah, I should be back someday... it's just that the Wednesday NA races are now too late for me. I might make it for the second support race Saturday if I practice enough before then.

Unfortunately, I am missing the pink, the red and the silver Clio's so I can't help you right now. But most of the other ones I have in 0/0 if you want to replace one of the other ones with a fresh one.

If you want to build up a collection of the Luctecia's as well, I have them all except the pink and the white ones.

If enough of us are 'collectors' we could also use the 3D3 account as a repository for all kinds of items also (level tickets -- I have them all --, paint chips, suits and helmets....). Just an idea.

Does the car restoration take everything off the car?

No as far as I know/remember it does not remove chassis reinforcement. Basically it just returns it to 0 miles. I remember dsgerbc trying this on the Alfa and reported it did not work. Looking for that post.

UPDATE: Even at my age, my mind is still making the connections. :sly: See here.

I was just teasing, but we do miss you in the races. And yes, those are good ideas. As I said it's a community resource and we have some nice plans for it that go along the lines your thinking about. Also, yes would also like to collect the Lutecia models... I'll post a list eventually of what's in there, we have some. And also yes, we love the 0/0/0 ones from the OCD because they don't require break in. Not really into the collecting aspect, but at OCD models are one oil change away from full power which is good if someone needs it last minute before a race.

Want to see what's in the garage at the moment. Look here. I'm going to make a special thread for this resource soon. I haven't had a chance to update that garage list since we added the cars today and I usually buy everything in the OCD so there will be an update shortly. If you donate a car you get credit in the Source column. :sly:

'bout to send/dupe the black #33 to JTV, like I promised the other night. This means "Thou shalt not pass" next Wed.

I'll try this duping thing, and send you one tonight, and that way I can keep my car that did me proud in Monaco.

Got it. Thank you. Now we are just short the silver bullet model. 👍

Sheesh, I take 1 sick day and we become a trading forum
I'll check my garage to see if I have the silver one. I'll post the others as well so we can spread the load over a few accounts and send more each day. Then when the frenzy dies down a bit I'll just hit the 3D3 account myself ;)

I'm really looking forward to this one, the test races were an absolute blast even with zero practice. 👍

EDIT: Nope, no silver one.
I do have the #9 yellow, #66 white and #99 pink if anyone is waiting on one.

I'm going to assume that 3D3 has every level ticket that is available...? Are there any tickets that 3D3 doesn't have?

Yes, we're pretty well stocked 👍
I think it comes down to specific years tickets at this point, I'll have a look though if you're offering to add to the collection.

Edit: we're missing all tickets from 1942-1965 and all tickets after 1989.

Thankyou Lucas 👍, I'll try to keep the no passing in mind but no promises

Qualifying is done on the day

Yup, for our weekly events we almost always run live pre race qualification just before the race. The countdown timer in the OP is actually the time before qualification starts. The race itself starts right after... Usually takes 10-15 depending on track and grid size.

thanks! first wednesday race :ouch:

I'm join both races (EU/NA) as an reserved driver because i don't know yet my timetable on wednesday night.

I duped my car to SGPracing so we should both be there!

I saw a Lutecia Trophy car in the UCD. I know it's not allowed, but what's the difference between it and the Clio? I didn't buy it as I'm looking for a 2J.

The obvious difference is that the Clio comes with LSD installed, the Lutecia does not.

However, there has been some debate that one car is faster than the other, so to eradicate that discussion, we just limit it to one car.

OK, cheers. So no need to jump on this one if it pops back up again. Plus it was the same mustard #9 as my Clio:yuck:

And 👍 for one-make/no-tune racing. Let the drivers dominate! Although it's annoying to watch their cars get smaller in front of me...

If you want a different color I can send a Clio. The only one we don't have in the 3d3 garage is the silver one. Let me know.

PS> We don't have a single white one in the NA field so if you want I can send that over to you or SPGRacing from the 3D3 garage.

I'll change that, having the white one in my possession. :)

Speedy, we have white already. We are missing silver.

Oops, never mind, you were talking about changing the color makeup of the registered drivers for the event. :dunce:

This should make for some very interesting photos with the entire spectrum on display. :dopey:

I was going to say that I'd like to have a silver one but I see there aren't any extras available.

I think I have a silver one, send me a PSN message as a reminder and I will have a look tonight. Will dupe it to you if I have it.

You should be able to just switch to a different setup, that's if you don't have 3 different tunes on the car.

I take it aero needs to be reset to default?

You should be able to just switch to a different setup, that's if you don't have 3 different tunes on the car.

Yes aero needs to be stock and so does everything else, but as Sean said you can save any current setup in your "A" sheet and set "B" or "C" to default specs.

Note: There are two things that you are allowed to change when the Tuning Prohibited option is used in the lounge:
  1. You can change break balance in the setup screens (you don't have to wait and do it with the RA functions).
  2. You can adjust the power limiter, but of course for this event you'll want all that power so wouldn't be a wise decision.
Note: I mention #2 because in next weeks event (also with tuning prohibited) we are going to run the cars for that event at slightly less than max power. On the other hand, you can't add ballast to the car and still pass regulations so as an event creator to use the tuning prohibited option you can adjust power limits, but not weight.

I keep getting "The request has timed out" when I try to join the lounge.

Going to restart my PS3 to see if it fixes the problem.
