I would like to sign up for the LMP class.
My GTP PSN ID is- GTP_HugoStiglitz

Availability-
Saturday- 8pm-1am (EDT, GMT -4)
Sunday- 12pm- 1am (EDT, GMT -4)

I am GTP registered.

As a first time racer here you need to follow the link 'Online Driver Database Entry Form' below first.
The following must be performed only one time per driver (not per event):
  • Send a PSN friend request to GTP_3D3Racing, GTP_3D3_A and GTP_3D3_B with subject line "3D3 Racing" from your GTP_tag ID.
  • Submit the 3D3 Racing Online Driver Database Entry Form. Your information will need to be verified before you are added to the db and before your ID will appear in the registered driver table above. You can view the official driver database here.

EDIT: To be found in post #3 like Gravitron mentions in the post below. đź‘Ť

Please have a look at post #3 (and post #4 if you also want in on the Sat support races) at the beginning of this thread. Registration instructions are all laid out there.

There's a one-time Driver info signup, which will be manually accepted on our end.
Then there's the event signups (one for Enduro, one for Support Races). Really easy once you go through it the first time.

EDIT: Speedy's speedy. ;)

You are almost there and being my favorite QB I'll give you some instructions. :sly: Our sign ups are completely automated, but do require a few things setup up front.

First you need to fill out the 3D3 Racing Form to get yourself listed in our automated system. Then you need to send FR to the lounges. You won't have to do that again.

Second, you use the form in the registration post of this event (or any event) to sign up for that event. That you have to do for every event.

See post #3 to sign up for the enduro and post #4 to sign up for the Saturday support races. Follow the instructions and it'll be done in about 2 minutes.

It a lot easier then memorizing the playbook written by your offensive coordinator.

PS> It wasn't your fault you didn't win the Superbowl. You should have 5 rings by now.

I'm in the main lounge atm. Trying to beat the Speedy's lap time who stolen me the 3rd place in the practice leaderboard.

EDIT: Done. After 7 or 8 warm up laps, finally done my fastest for a long time. 1:21.579 ;)

Oh right, sorry Litchi.
Jon (jtv) and Pekka (MadMax) are practicing in the GTP_3D3_B lounge.

PS. Please don't beat me off that 3rd spot. :)

Matt,

You are set now with all the required red tape and can start racing. đź‘Ť

When you are ready to qualify just post here in the thread requesting a steward. I should be available the next three nights starting at 8:30 PM Pacific and some additional hours on Sunday. I'm sure other stewards will be available at other times.

You can access the main lounge (GTP_3D3Racing) and join us for practice anytime as well.

Welcome!

Ok I followed you're guys' advice and will be hitting the track with my kart on the 29th.
I've cancelled my registration for sun and signed up for sat.
Really wish I coulda made the main event... I love enduros!

Anyone in the lounge? I'll be joining in 15-20 min for a quick tuning session.

Kevin, thanks for observing my quali. đź‘Ť

Now I can concentrate on watching other guys quali runs over the weekend.

I may have to qualify really quickly tonight as tomorrow I will just have no time. Will anyone be around at 19:00GMT to 21:00GMT?

I can be there Jordan.

Your quali will have to be between 19:00 and 20:00 as at 20:00 we're starting 'Yet Another British Invasion' Saturday Attack Format.
Best is maybe between 19:00-19:30. If after 19:30 we'll have to move to another lounge.
Main lounge is reserved at 19:30 for the Attack format practice.

*All times are GMT.

See you then. :)

I need to qualify also. Will try to join at 19:00 GMT (god that is so damn early in NZ)

You can go after we're done with the Saturday Attack, Mef.
It will convert into Endurance practice once we're done. ;)

I suspect that will be around 22:00-22:30 GMT.
This way you can get yourself 3 more hours of sleep. :)

Going to do some more practice in the 3d3 lounge now, then ill try and get my qualifying done today hopefully around about the same time as Biffy.

Edit: I finished

Alright thanks, it's going to be a bit of a squeeze as I'll have finished Aderrrm's spot race about just an hour before and had dinner right after, will need to get in some quick practice.

I cancelled my entry in the google docs sheet.
Just wanted to state so here as well.

Good luck guys! đź‘Ť

:(

After what happened with Aderrrm's enduro today, even though we suspect it was a PSN/GT5 server issue, I urge you to do a test with 14 to 16 people at Laguna before the actual race to see if there are any bugs present or if people get dc'd. It may have just been a one-off but I wouldn't chance it.

I'm up now, it's allright. See you in about half an hours time in the lounge.

Will this be the lounge in the 3D3Racing account or under the other accounts?

Yes, main lounge will do for now.

I'm about to enter it BTW.

EDIT:
MadMax, Biffy and Hasslemoff are in here practicing aswell. đź‘Ť

Sounds like the issue was not the track, but PSN. We had a room blow up a couple weeks ago at Indy Road and PD was playing with servers to deploy a seasonal (we suspect).

Also we most likely will max at 12 in the A lounge. We've had several cancels and so both rooms will be a bit smaller than last time. Hoping we get back to 22 registrations so the B lounge can have at least 10. If it drops under twenty running a mixed class in B will be dicey. Probably still run it, but won't be ideal.

*** Quali in Progress ***

Please don't enter the main lounge untill this post is edited. đź‘Ť

Lounge open again and is now being converted to 'Yet Another British Invasion'

There's a good chance I can help out tonight with stewarding. I can be on from about 8-11pm PDT (3-6am GMT).

A or B? Right now I don't feel I could qualify after today's fiasco!

But I might want to see if there's any side-effects. Frustrated that I could not even get close to my earlier practice time of 1'25.700................so I quit and painted my car and took a photo.

This car is so photogenic..............:sly:

I be slow....but I be purty.....said her. :)

I'm back home and available to steward qualification runs over the next 2 hours and then again later tonight after 8:30 PM pacific so we should be good for coverage the rest of the day. Post here if you are ready to go.

I'll probably have the lounge all set up shortly so feel free to pop in.

Had a question concerning going wide on the approach to turn 1 during qualification. Here's the ruling from a post earlier in the thread. I'll copy this to the OP as well:

... we are not generally going to penalize hitting brake markers during quali. However we reserve the right to make specific track boundary rules, in particular going wide into the markers prior to turn 1. That area will be out of bounds and incur a penalty. But in other areas of the track where the markers are right on the track edge next to the rumbles it may be more trouble than it's worth to penalize when the driver and view have different realities so as long as the driver keeps two wheels on track we'll ignore marker contact.

Basically keep at least two tires inside the white line on approach to turn 1. If you clip a marker, but your two left tires are on or inside the while line you won't incur a penalty. Basically the markers don't matter as they may have been knocked down on an earlier lap so the important part is the white line.
