My wife informed me earlier tonight that her boss wants to have a going away get together for her Saturday since she is leaving her job. She doesn't know the time yet but said probably late afternoon/early evening.
I may end up missing out on Stop 1 because of this.
I plan to qualify tomorrow night and will try to let you guys know then.

I've had to change to reserve for the second event day on the 9th. In my vacation related distraction, I never voted on the poll, and never noticed the change of dates. It's likely that I have a race in Portland on that weekend. It's possible the race will be cancelled, as I don't think turnout is what they expected, the reason for my reserve status.

I've updated my status to reserve for Stop 1. The wifey says we are going to her bosses house at 5 pm, right in the middle of the first race.
I'm going to try and qualify tonight and hope I have enough time to run at least one of the races. If me running will cause the race to be split into two lounges then I will not run at all to give you guys a good race.

Keep tonight's hour-long maintenance in mind when thinking about when to do your qualifying. For Tim, EDK, and I, in PDT, this is 8-9pm.

I'm pretty sure Lucas is at work, but I'm in the lounge with you now.
I have work to do myself so I'll mostly be AFK, but will take the time to watch your run whenever you are ready. Take your time and practice if you need... I'll watch the thread and come over when you are ready for your quali race.

I got my registry divisional placement this evening and have just signed up for these events, along with submitting 3D3 database registration and sent friend requests to the 3D3 PSN accounts. My registry qualifier went better than I expected so I just hope I can keep up.

Guys, I had a work emergency come up and will not be available much at all tonight. If I'm available you'll find me in the lounge. Hopefully the other stewards can handle qualifying requests this evening (if we don't have a maintenance outage).

I've done a little practice now, and I even have the correct car run in (I had the 4.2 ready and wondered why I was so slow 
). They're all painted Midnight Blue (running joke with my son); I'll try to grab some photos.
I should be around tonight some time near 1130GMT (May 1). I should have another window around 0300 GMT May 2, but that's cutting it a little finer than I like, but more folks are around then. I'll be watching the thread in case I can help anyone quali, of course.
