Kevin had to take off, but I think I'll stay on and see what happens when the maintenance period starts...I'll update with the good or bad in case anyone else was thinking of dropping by.

EDIT: 40min into the maint. and I'm still in the lounge, but there's reports showing up of a small 2.07 patch. So I'll probably exit and reboot GT5 here pretty soon. I should be available for more quali's after that.

I'm pretty much out all day today and possibly tonight with a continued work emergency... it's entirely possible the next time I set foot in the car will be about 5 minutes before the race.
One of the other stewards is going to take over with the last minute juggles as a few drivers send their cancellations in last minute per usual... at the moment we are at the tipping point between one and two lounges. If a driver doesn't show up to qualify today/tonight and we only get 16 or fewer qualifiers we are going with one lounge and those that miss quali will be put on reserve. Fair warning has been given.
If you are confirmed and are still unsure about your participation please update your status by end of night tonight. If you are on reserve and will make the race please update your status also. We *need* a hard count given we are so close to the split/no split number.

UPDATED UNQUALIFIED DRIVER LIST: The following drivers need to qualify in the next 10.5 hours or so:
If we get 16 or less that qualify we are only running a single lounge.

Status update: there's a good chance I'll make the race(s) tomorrow but I'll leave my status as reserve. I'm certainly going to try to get home in time.
And in the spirit of "last minute" planning, I have a small quali window for the next half hour or so if any stewards are around to observe. No big deal if I don't as I'll probably be hanging around the back of the grid anyway ....and loving it

Just drop by the lobby. It will probably remain open, with a steward available for the remainder of the night.
Just to remind drivers - check the thread before entering. If a driver is qualifying the room will be closed (indicated by a post) until he is finished.

Only 2 hours until quali is closed.
Any drivers that do not submit a quali will start at the back of room B (assuming we have a room b) or the back of room A if we have only 16 drivers.

Quali deadline is actually just 1 hour and 15 minutes away:
The two remaining drivers are in EU time zones (middle of the night for them) so I think we're probably done with quali at this point.

I'm pretty certain based on a PM that Al is not going to be able to make the race.
It looks like we have at least 17 without any of the above so we'll split into two rooms, but the exact split point will depend on who decides to race tomorrow.
We'll announce all the qualifying times in a little over an hour and we can just all meet in the lounge/thread tomorrow and we'll announce the lounge assignments about 90 mins before the race. Come early or let us know you are arriving last minute because if there 16 or fewer close to race time we'll just merge into one lounge. I understand those of you in GATE will not be able to make it very early, but please check in with the thread before the GATE race and confirm with us you are going to join us after that race is complete.

Congratz to Wes for the pole by a large margin and James and Lucas for the remaining spots in the top 3. 👍
We will discuss the lounge split (if required) tomorrow based on all the drivers status updates. If you did not qualify and you want to take part then post to this thread tomorrow and we'll try to accommodate... but we don't know exactly what's going to happen until all drivers confirm or cancel. All the drivers who qualified are guaranteed a spot in the event if they decide to confirm.
