Ordinary Decent Criminal with Kevin Spacey? At least that's the movie that came to me from your description.
I liked Jurassic Park 3. Of course, as a mindless action flick. Special effects in those movies rarely dissapoint me.
Some horrid movies in here, but not anything I'd consider the worst 5 of all-time.......... But now, I wonder which movies I selected for my worst 5.

Nope. I think it may have had the actor from Layer Cake and the new James Bond in it.
Starship Troopers was ok as a tongue-in-cheek semi-satirical jibe at other movies in the genre. If the actors, director and producer at all meant it as serious as an action movie then, agreed, it would be rubbish.

I love reading these sort of threads, i like so many of the films listed above. However Starship Troopers 2, yes that was utterly terrible.
STV Van Damme film Derailed (not the Clive Owen one) i think is the worst film i have ever seen. Lots of those STV martial arts films are terrible but watchable. Derailed was just utterly appauling.
On the mention of Ordinary Decent Criminal, i can't remember it at all, i just know it was crap.

Ok, I agree with Men in black 2, that was pitiful. The shining, well, I guess it just depends on what you like.
Kill Bill 1 was fun. Period. A live action anime. Whether you liked the story or not is not relevant. If you can watch Tango and Cash you should be able to watch this as well.
I Robot, great concept so-so execution. But hardly bad enough to be on any kind of worst movies list.

You have to be very careful here, though. Bad horror films are supposed to be bad. It would be easy to pick 5 bad horror movies that are truly awful (Basket Case and The Manatu leap instantly to mind, not to mention The Incredible Two-headed Transplant).

I can think or reasons why a film with a good premise can be bad for being short, and this no time is given to provide depth to the characters and add substance to the plot.

With this in mind, you can sub Killer Clowns From Outer Space for my dishonorable mention, The Net. I suppose I was forced to see Killer Clowns (not once, but twice!) and I thought it was trying to be serious (I think I was 12 or so when I saw it on HBO). It really wasn't.
So why bother making an obviously craptacular movie, anyhow? Maybe I'm slighting the genre as a whole with this statement, but how come horror movies can get away with "being bad for the sake of bad" and other genres can't?

-The Transporter (While I know it's not supposed to be a 'deep' movie of any sorts, there are just too many flaws to take it seriously. I specifically remember walking out of the theater and thinking that the whole movie was a joke).
