Safari isn't automatically refreshing which threads I've read when I use a back command like it did with the previous version. (and still does with other forums). Can this be fixed?

Conversations which occurred before the change in your user profile no longer contain the other members input into the conversation.

Banned users will now show up as Banned users :)

 Maybe they should, but they don't!

Or did some users get unbanned during the changeover?

Another issue, tangentially involving banned users:
So you click in the search box, start to type in a username, and a "helpful" popdown menu comes up with possible completions. This obscures the "search this thread" checkbox.

Banned users don't show up in that popdown box, although you can still search by typing the entire name. I suspect that part is intentional, though.

If you expand an image in a quoted box it 'breaks out' and overlaps the post below.

Not anything serious, but more just a bit irritating. When you click an image to "View full size" when it has been automatically reduced to fit, it kinda throws you around the screen, and again when you reduce it back to its normal size.

@Jordan Not sure if this has been mentioned but the look of knowing which page your on is not very clear?
I was on page 5 when I took the screen print.

oh wow... in my browser (win7 + chrome) the active page is white. it's not super clear but it's way better than yours.

That's probably just a function of the browser handling the fluid layout. Fraid there's not much that can be done on that front.

This post brings something to mind....
@Jordan did we lose multi-quote or am I just not seeing something?

Tried it a couple of browsers and am getting same image type. IE & Chrome. (Just not very defined, Just about noticable if you really look?)

------

Has for the multiqoute its just click on reply for all your qoutes? Then you get them showing in the reply box.
Think thats how its implemented now. :)

@christara321 I'm getting that as well. Running Chrome 30.0.1599.101 on Windows Vista.

Hi,a Ross. Yes its just not very defined thats all.
But a pain if your reading thru a thread and then need to refer a page or something in a quote to someone?
I guess its just a minor thing and will hopefully get cleared up somehow. But for now am just refering to the address bar to get the page number when needed. :D

@christara321
Cheers. I see what it does now. Just stacks everything up in the quick reply box.

Yes it works quite well since you can quote inbetween each quote so saves all the sorting out. :D
Plus if your qouting from another thread its just a question of copy/paste from other replys in threads? Or something on that lines. :D

Just tried it; looks like you still have to copy/paste when quoting from a different thread like we've always done.

Quoted from a different thread:

Tapping on the title opens a new blank page in iOS 7 Safari. Tapping on the word YouTube doesn't do anything. The Share functions work perfectly, as does Info. When in the Share menu, tapping More opens a new blank page.
It works fine for me in iOS 7 Safari; the behavior is the same on all embedded YouTube videos on all web pages.

Please provide more specific OS/browser information. The page navigation elements shouldn't look like that.

If I want to edit a post and switch to code using that little tab in the top right corner (while remaining in quick edit mode, not "more options"/Advanced edit), it doesn't actually let me type anything. I can place my cursor in the body of text, but the computer denies me any text input. It is indicated with the error sound effect (the "Ding" on a mac with default sounds).

I am however allowed to type in code mode when I'm in the advanced edit page.
What OS/browser?

I'm not sure what to tell you; the browser just showing you its last saved version of the page. It's not really something which has changed on the site that can be fixed.

Select the member you want from that 'helpful' pop-up menu, and it should reveal the search thread checkbox.
Same here. Same Phone.
I don't think file uploads via HTML form are supported in the Windows Phone OS.

Pardon me if this has been mentioned within this thread.

As I stated yesterday, the mobile version is working very efficiently. However, today I did notice something. The time is way off. Just now I checked via mobile (not logged in), it said my recent post in the College Football thread was at 1:17 a.m. today ?! I was asleep at 1:17 a.m. today (lol)

Forum clock or something in my phone not jiving with the new software ?

Clearly you didn't do what I asked you to in the other thread...

Well, I asked this on another thread (because I was unaware of this one, I'm a moron). Anyway, you know those emotion things such as 👍 &? Well, I can't see them active; they're just showing up in word form. So, are the emotion things no longer usable on GTPlanet or is this just a bug?

Read this please

Where it says Confirmed Issues ..... look at the 4th dot under it.

I don't think so, never used to do it. Seems to reset the view so that the image is at 0 y axis when you press small or large size, but for some particularly large images, it throws your page around quite alot.

When viewing as a guest, the forum clock now shows times in GMT/UTC. It used to show guest times as Eastern Time.
@Jordan Firefox 20.0, Mac 10.8.3.

You're on Mac too, right?
Yes. I can't recreate the issue on OSX with Firefox 24.0 or 25.0. Try disabling your plugins to see if they might be causing the problem.

I've got 24.0 on my laptop which I'm currently switched to and it doesn't have that problem. I'll try disabling something and get back to you later.

Hi Jordan am using Chrome/IE9 Windows 7 Ultimate. (Slightly better on Chrome?)
Plus if you look at the picture above this post it also looks a little hard to see.
Thanks

EDIT: Fully updated apart from IE10 but tried that also. But prefered IE9 so went back to that?

EDIT 2: Not sure if this has been mentioned but it appears that New member shows on my account and many others I have seen who have been members here for some time? Not sure if its a bug/glitch or just an oversight. (More noticable when you look at your friends list in your profile, But have noticed in a couple of places when browsing?)

It does, but I don't see why it should now be necessary to select the name after I've already typed the name in full. Hence "helpful" with quotes.

In the status updates on the right hand side of the main forum view, when I click on the friends section it show people that I've never even seen on the site.
