Don't worry, I think there'll be a huge spread of time on this

'Guess I'm in the right thread...

I've got a slight problem guys...

I realized (after joining:guilty:) that my PSN user name should have a GTP tag in front of it.:grumpy:

Unfortunately, I've been just ''Mojo Toker'' on the PSN since I've started playing GT5 which is 2 months, 4 million and about 80 cars ago.

I know I can create another PSN id(which I already have, GTP_MojoToker), but I thought that maybe I could simply copy my save data from my other user. But alas, the game doesn't permit that.

So, my question is: if I really wanna join (which I do...), is it an absolute MUST that I have the tag on?

'Cuz I mean I like racing, I'm just not sure that I've got the time or the patience to go through all the game again.

Hoping to join u guys soon on the track... 👍

Mojo, you have to use a GTP_ Tag, however just gift yourself a DTM or JGTC car from your main account and run the top seasonal event and you will skip to level 16 straight away 👍. Easiest way 👍

Welcome to GTP and the WRS 👍

EDIT - Already answered.

Jerome

@Mojo Toker:

Yes, your PSN user name MUST have a GTP tag in front of it.

Since you already have a GTP PSN account, just gift a car to your GTP account that can be used in the seasonal events (I'd suggest a JGTC or DTM car), run the particular race and you're immediately >level 12. Should take less than 15 minutes 👍

Personally not phased by this at all. End of the day it doesn't matter what division you end up in, because the more practice you get the quicker your going to climb those divisions.

No gtp tag, no entry. As simple as that.

As for the other question, I have my main account and my gtp account. Your gtp account will only need you to run a week or two's worth of seasonal events to get you up to around level 25 or so. You are then good to go, with plenty if money in the bank. Shouldn't take no more than an hour or so.

Thanks for the info. 👍

I can always give the cars as gifts from my other user I guess.

Just have to get to level 6 to be able to do the registry thing.

Catch y'all later

I believe its level 12 to run the intermediate AMG special event.

Can any one just clarify this for me:

What Happens if My Registration is Refused?:

In the unfortunate and unlikely event of being refused entry onto the register there is another method of entry. The second method of entry has been put in place to eliminate any chance of being wrongly labelled as a bad driver in the past.

In order to secure entry onto the register after being refused, you will then have to acquire two guarantors who are already registered on the PSN registry to vouch for you. Once this has been achieved, then your entry onto the registry will be reassessed in a fair and unbiased manner.

Why would people be refused to register? and are all participants registered after participating in the qualifier (bar those who meet the above criteria) or is there a capped limit to the number of entrants and divisions?

We intend for the registry to be more than just a list of WRS participants: It also serves as a list of players who subscribe to good sportsmanship and would make worthy competitors for online races.

If someone has garnered a reputation as a dirty or disruptive driver in online races, then it is possible that they will be denied entry into the registry (or will be removed from the registry if already listed).

If they have been denied entry, but have since reformed their ways, and other members are willing to vouch for them, then this gives them a way to get back into the registry.

Time submitted 👍

I would have liked to have spent a little more time on this one ,but im reasonably happy with my effort.
had to submit early due to commitments comming up (Getting wasted on Australia day and watching the Aussie's smash the poms at cricket). :dunce:

Good luck everyone

Send over a DTM car European only and run seasonal event bonus race 5 Nurburgring GP. Will raise you to level 17 and net you 2 million credits for just 8 laps and you will be good to go.

or send over a JGTC and do the high speed ring in bonus race 4 1.5 million also takes you to level 17 assuming you are starting at level 0.

My pedals took a turn for the worse last night costing me large amounts of time every lap during an online race at Rome (you should have seen my straight line disadvantage to people with working brake pedals ). I can't wait to see my qualifier result, I'd be so ecstatic with D1 Silver since that'd mean I've improved since Prologue, but still a few weeks before that. Hopefully I can get my pedals fixed before WRS Week 1.

Well I was there when Paulies pedals shot themselves last night...and I could tell he was not a 'happy camper' - it is good that your qualifier times were not too affected, cause that's where we can prove we can 'walk' the 'talk'.

Hard to know for sure, but I feel like I put in as much time as I would any other WRS week, so... submitted :)

Can't wait to find out where I'll end up. :sly:

What kind of pedals? I have the PWTS with standard pedals and a couple of weeks ago everything was fine in one race and in the next the car would not leave the line. Pedals died completely on me. Fanatec sent me a new set of pedals ASAP and all is well again. Took about 10 days. Fortunately I had a DFGT to use as a spare while I waited.

Good afternoon.

I think it's my time to submit. Didn't touch the qualifier in the last week, so...

Bob's have taken over my PS3... :ill:
Got to level up for the Signature Edition SLS Competition.

Hope to see you all and have a great time on the WRS.
cheers

Had the lap of my life in sector 3 only to leave the track (I think right after I had crossed the line)Thankfully I bettered that One with a very clean lap which is even alot faster than my fastest .Will put some more to shave a second in sector 2 then Submitting. My Goal is Div 2
