Wont have enough time to submit a new time so submitting to fetchbot now. Sucks cause i know if i put together a good T2 along with my 15.4 T1 i can cream my best lap :(

Just not enough time in the week!! Finally managed to buy the car last night and put in about 16 laps, going to have to submit with my best from them I'm afraid:ouch:, not brilliant but I didn't sign up not to take part at all.
T1: 16.066
T2: 36.546

Best of luck to all.

Please note all that the deadline is not until tomorrow. One minute before midnight GMT on the night between Monday and Tuesday.

Thanks for the heads up but it makes no odds to me, my PS3 won't see the light of day until tuesday now!
On another subject, just submitted my times and recieved a message from our dear Fetchbot telling me I wasn't registered, even though I ran the qualifier and submitted my time well before the deadline, any ideas?:grumpy:

Managed another hour last night which looked like ending in frustration, but then 5 minutes before I had to call it a night I managed to gain 0.1 seconds on the T2 time and 0.5 seconds overall on the lap. Didn't reach my target of a 34.9XX, but it'll have to do.

T1: 15.511
T2: 35.174

My times wasn't the fastest, But I did beat all my splits on previous runs & was unable to tie them together.
These are the settings I used.

All lightening parts
Front areo part type B
-20 Ride height -15
7.3 Spring rate 5.4
4 Damper Ex 4
4 Damper Co 4
2 Anti roll 2
2.2 Camber 1.2
0 Toe 0.20
6 Brake B 4
Diff 20, 50,25
Max speed 155 Mph

I've submitted. Used Ramon's tune found on page 18 with the following changes.

Ride height -10/-10
Camber -2,5/-2,5
Toe 0.00/-0.10
Brake Bias 2/4

Havent run since pre-patch and want to ávoid any doubts or trouble around the change mid week.

Since they've effectively put this week's results on ice, what's the harm in getting some more running in anyway? Kev said that replays would be required from (probably) everyone and stored until a way can be found of verifying whether any illegal tuning has taken place... so abandondining the competition early seems a shame.

I've been running the non-adjustable 5-speed close ratio gearbox all week, which removes any question of gear ratios being adjusted and is easy to verify since it makes much less noise than the fully adjustable one. Its fixed ratio top speed is 130, same as most people's setups seemed to be for the full race 'box.

BTW Vagabond, thanks for posting your setup 👍.
No worries mate. Glad it was useful... and great final splits by the way 👍 How was your 3rd sector? ;)

I hadn't done any running since last Sunday until this morning. I was well over a second off my previous times! :/ Then I noticed it hadn't saved my setup from the last session.

So ended up fiddling with the suspension again, decided to base off of Eclipsee's setting (which are nothing like what I was using before)

Eventually just as I was ready to quit & submit my previous time, I found .4 on my previous fastest :) Only 0.1 on my previous splits though grrr. If only I could string my 3 best sectors together I'd have a very reasonable time <sigh>

T1: 15.608
T2: 35.886

Just because some people finish higher than there ranking doesn't make them sandbaggers, i for one have finished a lot higher than my ranking but that is probably because this is my first wrs and i didn't have much time to spend on the qualifier but have become quite addicted to the wrs in the first week so to those who keep complaining about sandbaggers just have a little patience and let the system sort it out ! after all this is a online event with no entry fee and no sheep stations for the winners .

To be honest Tsukuba is one of my least favourite tracks and WRS 2 is so much more appealing to me, so I figured I would just go straight into that and just submit what I already had for WRS 1.

I was more happy that I learnt some new techniques and got better acquainted with Tsukubar. This week was more about improving myself and expanding my driving rather than racing others.

Look forward to seeing your splits at Trial Mountain 👍

I agree Dion, I learned a lot about driving Tsukuba this week, it's not a track I was previously all that familiar with. I don't think I'll be doing week 2 though, too much going on right now for me.

Edit: Hang on WTF, I'm still the best placed of the TT-R drivers? How did that happen? Of course anything could happen in that final sector...... Actually I really can't wait to see how our final sectors go, I know I ran wide at the last turn which cost me a few hundredths.:guilty:

Interesting so Would You guys Mind Posting How Many Miles You drove ?

Only about 154 km for me which is one of the reasons you'll see me near the bottom. That and my rubbish driving that is, I just couldn't tame that thing.

This:tup:

For me, more important than my position on the table was been able to made a time equal to an RX-8 that i used at a past seasonal with this old Chev :dopey:
At the beggining of the week no way i tought that would be possible.
(another way to see it is how lousy the driver of the RX-8 was :sly:)

906.7 miles

I get you. I also learned alot this week and my improvements since Sunday I never would've expected.

Hmmph! :ill: posted....

It doesn't seem to register any times from me, trying with a little improvement on the lap time:

T1: 15.832
T2: 35.566

Tried another session, but then I had an epiphany: "Why am I struggling with this horrible car on this tedious track? This is supposed to be fun!". So I just stopped.

T2 fractionally worse, but T3 fractionally better:

T1: 15.461
T2: 35.040

Last try. Changed Damper (rebound) to 10/6 and the first lap was the goal. :sly:

T1: 15.210
T2: 34.550

Now i´m also happy with my T3. :)

Will submit with this splits.

Good luck everyone. 👍

Ah, I think I know what happened.

You're in the registry, but when you submitted, you added some extra commas to your submission, which ended up attached to your name. I'll fix the registry and you should be cleared to submit.

Submitting with my current splits.

Just for the record my time is pre patch and I have covered 207.2 miles in the Camaro.

Good luck everyone :)
