Strange, I seem to be a lot faster in the first half of the track with the Calsonic, but quicker in the last half with the Zexel. I wish I could swap cars mid track!:confused:

At any rate, here are splits from one of the two:

Evening chaps. :) I had another go tonight to try and make up for the time I wasted yesterday... tough going on this track - its not one I've traditionally been very good at but it is good fun. Anyway, here's some splits for now:

30.950
26.199
22.924

There's another 3 or 4 tenths out there (for me anyway). This was close to my best 1st sector, best 2nd and 3rd are 26.091 and 22.808 respectively and lost a couple of tenths off my best 4th sector. Every corner is crucial to lap time here and sticking it all together demands more precision than most tracks.

On car choice... this lap was with the Zexel but honestly, I can't feel any difference between them.

From my best splits there's still 3 tenths out there but I've done very many laps close to the one I have now (which I got on my first stint) that I think I'll just submit, it looks like I can probably improve by .050 which is probably too small to waste an hours session. Not a big fan of motegi and the underwater in this car makes it even more frustrating. Good luck everyone
 
I really expected to do better than this. This is .350 off of my hypothetical best. I just didn't improve over the week. Still never figured out T2, and my best T1 was .013. Just could not turn my consistent .0xx's T1's into anything.

As I have been practising the endurro this weekend, I did not spent enough time anymore on this TT. With my new wheel I was first 2 sec behind. Narrowed that gap to a few tenths, but was not able to beat my G27 time. I will be submitting altough I have the feeling I did not reach my full potential. Hope it is still enough for negative handicap.

Again a fine battle in div3. Splendid times from Koen and Manu. Nice to see Shawn returned to join the battles 👍 Goodluck to all those who are chasing that last minute 'perfect lap'.

Thanks frank, nice time from you as well. No electricity for me today so not running this one again. Submitting with the splits on board. Leaving .325 out there but it seems every week I leave some time on track. Either way the time is around my average lap time so I'm not too disappointed. Hoping for a negative though :scared:
 
Tried to get a faster run in, but I've been unable to come close to what I ran yesterday.

I don't have the DLC so I felt I should at least try this track now that it was available in a seasonal. :)

Took a while for me to figure out that Chris had ballast on his shared car, couldn't understand how he hit those splits... :mischievous: :ouch:

Tried this one but couldn't make decent time. Just saw yanaran's comment about the ballast. Is everyone using ballast? Never occurred to me to try it, too late now.

I was faster without. It just didn't occur to me to check the ballast setting when I borrowed his car. :)

Submitting with these, did the best I could. Left about .3 on track.
No magic lap for me ;)

Crap yeah... I had ballast on it before the update that changed PP calculations. I removed the ballast on my own car but forgot to do it for the cars I had on share. Sorry about that mate. :guilty:
 
I'm on the fence about submitting at the mo - I've left nearly half a second out there which is far more than I'm comfortable with. I still have mixed feelings about Motegi but I've learned a bit more about how to drive it this week anyway.

One last go and I loose .019 thru the splits but gain .282 at the line. I'll take and post. Here's to what I hope is a close one at the line!
