Finally managed to get a bunch of good sectors together in one lap. PB in T1 and T4 and pretty close in T2 as well. Lost .15 in T3 but otherwise happy with the lap.

:D

Always gotta be just ahead of me haven't ya!

:D 👍

Nice one, Carlos!!!
You and millross ( ) are going faster than I think I'll get. I'm going to run for a few hours this afternoon. Great job to both of you! 👍 👍

Guys I want to say that I am pulling out of the WRS for a couple of weeks because of a death in my immediate family, and then yesterday I find out that one of my oldest friends was a victim in a triple homicide in my little town. I’m just not good right now, so Little and I are on hiatus for a while. Best of luck to all.

Some new split times:

T1: 25.594
T2: 24.148
T3: 20.367

Have gone about a tenth quicker in all of those splits, but realistically think I can take about 2 tenths out of my overall lap, getting closer to my limit 👍

Well I see I'm all the way back to 28th... With OMRS I haven't put hardly any time in this, hopefully I'll get something today or tomorrow.

That really sucks, don't know how to wish one the best from that. But the best to you guys and everyone involved.

Shame i made a couple of small errors and lost about .2 in the last sector, still aiming to get another .5 overall i think, haven't even attempted to change Brake balance, still not quite sure how to, tryed following peoples instructions but couldn't figure it out!

U need to operate the DS3 firstly, it will automatically be assigned to a different slot to that of the steering wheel, all you need to do is firstly manipulate the controller configuration settings in the GT5 options menu so that you can use the RA functions, the standard configuration has no RA functions assigned to the buttons, how I did this is I assigned the RA activation to L3, the down button (dpad) as the scroll down button for the RA menu, R3 button as the up scroll (gonna change it to the up button though, initially I was using the DS3 for driving so I needed to leave the up as the ghost on/off toggle), and R1 L1 as the increase decrease slider for the various RA options. Then simply assign the controller to 1, which is the same as the steering wheel and it will work in conjunction with the wheel.

Tragic news Lefty, really sorry to hear about it.

Well I found my tenth in T2. Unfortunately I lost one in T1 on this lap (25/100 even compared to my best T1) Nevertheless 7/100 better across the line.

25.780
24.244
20.441

My condolences to the Lefty family.

I'll be submitting my time tomorrow after I see which one of my replay is fastest and clean. I have more then 10 of them saved but only 2-3 of them are 100% clean as far as I remember!:nervous:

Haven't drove this since Thursday....cold has striked me down and I'm still pretty wasted unfortunately, not in the mood for driving definetly. Also PS Store is up with lots of games to download and with mass effect on the way I don't think I'll be doing any serious driving anytime soon!:tup

@Lefty, very sorry to hear that. I hope everything goes well to you and your son.

See you!

Condolences to Lefty and family 👍

I can't help but notice this week that split updates aren't flying in on a regular basis like normal, is it just me or are there others not really feeling the love for this one so to speak.

I will give it another run before the deadline, theres nothing wrong with the car selection for me, it's the track. I loved this track so much on the Forza Motorsport series that I ended up running it to death until I eventually got sick of the sight of it, and it has put me off putting the hours in around here.

What about some of you guys, is it the car or track selection, or maybe tyre selection that is putting you off this week?

No one can really say that it is not noticeable that this week hasn't been run as hard as previous weeks

What do you guys think?
Good luck to all with results this week 👍

Not at all, loved it! I don't drive muscle cars much and haven't had a long laguna blast for ages so i enjoyed it.

@ Plato: I just didn't have the time to run this week. I love the combo, though.

The car is great fun to drive, like I said though, I have killed this track off in previous games and finding it hard to run as much as I would in other WRS events.

I just thought, or it may be my imagination, that quiet a lot of people haven't put in their usual big efforts, me being one of them i'm sad to say. I normally give it my best shot every week.

Not much banter this week either in this thread strange

Managed to tie a decent T3 to a good last sector. I've dipped into the 10's at T3 a couple of times, but was not able to convert them.

25.847
24.555
20.705

Good luck to all in the results. 👍

:D 👍

I try to, but it doesn't always work out that way in the end :sly:

I'm happy with the car and the track, but I think there has been a few intense weeks recently ('Ring and the Honda) so people are maybe taking a breather? There's maybe less banter because there's no discussion on tuning as there was last week, just got to get in and drive!

Nice one, Carlos!!!

Thanks Chuk. Shame you can't get much running in, although I'm only 10th in D2 so don't want to be any further down!!!

Lefty, that's truly horrible news. I doubt that there are any of us that know what you are going through, but you can be certain that despite us only being names on a computer screen, we are real people and we are terribly sorry for the pain you must be going through. Seek solace in those closest to you my friend and I hope the pain subsides in the days and weeks to come. Give Little a hug on behalf of us other Dad's on the Forum.

2 tires stayed on the rumble through the rumble, so this would be clean, correct?
Final turn exit.

Clean. The green stuff is not track, but the rumble and the painted tarmac are. Forgot the paint was that wide there, hope nobody is upset by this ruling. I know I was doing the same at times. 👍

Oh, and turn up the frame rate and use auto focus next time. ;)

I'm having an issue with the N°3 sign at the end of the lap...
It keeps taking off

So I can play too?
All I have to do to start is add my psn to my profile here?

You need to start with our qualifier, here -

Yeah, that happens as soon as you reset. I had mistakenly thought it only happened when you exit into the main screen to save your replay, but it happens even if you hit reset. If you just run laps continuously, it stays. I took to not resetting, since that's basically the brake marker for that turn.

Ok, thanks EDK
So I have to quit to the main menu and load the arcade track again.

After last week I figured I'd double-check. :)
I know, I forgot again, I have a low-res TV I use, so I can't tell till it's on the PC. :dopey:

I use the dark spot entering the last turn, I aim to be on the brakes a hair before the dark spot, (rubber mark on track, permanent) once you find it, you can't miss it.
