New split times, still gotta play around with the brake balance to make the most of my lap

First 2 sectors weren't too great, can definitely see about 3 more tenths in my lap though, damn the first turn!

There is just no need for you to be posting amazing splits with a ds3 like that

Nice splits 👍 even though I know you are going to be beating those as you were telling me you had run .5s in T1 and .1s in T2.

At least this shows other DS3 users that fast times are possible nice job....not liking seeing your name above me on the leaderboards though

i hit my target with this lap but i want a bit more now.

Alex (SPUD) has always been fast, he has a wheel but chooses to use the controller because he said setting up wheel is to much effort, damn if I could use a pad like that it would have saved me some money

I've seen a .4 in T1 as well once, but not sure how I managed that to be honest! I tried 6 and 9 brake balance briefly as opposed to 3 and 5 but didn't feel any improvement with time, but the car did drift around the corner a bit better . The main problem I'm having with this car is that it understeers in to corner entrance, but oversteers as soon as I try to put the power down.

We should definitely get Dave and Dan on board to join the fun, give Holland and Zoky a run for their money aha .

I tried 6 and 9 brake balance briefly as opposed to 3 and 5 but didn't feel any improvement with time, but the car did drift around the corner a bit better . Agreed, Davey or 3wide skills would give them a run for there money for sure. Good luck getting them off iracing though. I saw .4s in T1 the other night also but like you not sure how.

Give this another run later, don't take to much more time off, I will struggle to keep up

Saw a 49.87x last night, but you guessed it, managed to toss that into the weeds as well 🤬 Also had a couple of low 10.8s at T3 that didn't work out, I did however manage to complete a lap that did improve my overall lap time by around .15 but I ran deep into the corkscrew entry and the last corner was appalling so there's still time out there for me.

I've been wondering about that. What was the basis for the decision to change? It wasn't really a problem only being able to submit once.

It was the Fetchbot Automation of the submissions that caused us to take away the one submission rule. It was there in the past so the race sdmin responsible did not have to sort through multiple entries and decide which one to accept.

As charged sir, I sometimes submit on Tuesday and don't submit again, I've got lazy and thought that will do sorry.

I just meant that I might have a shot at getting by them, but they would be able to improve their time once they saw that. In the past, you were stuck with whatever you submitted.

My final split is not good at all which did annoy me but hopefully I will be able to hook it all up for the end of the week.

You can adjust the brake balance in all of the different modes. You just need to use the RA menu. Easily accessed if you have a DFGT through the dial. If no DFGT just go to the options menu and setup the buttons on a DS3 to control the menu. To access the menu if you are using a wheel the DS3 has to be set to controller 1.

I map the buttons to the d-pad DOWN (brings up RA menu), d-pad left (Move up), d-pad right (Move down), Left-analog CLICK (L3) - adjust down, Right-analog click (R3) - adjust up. Then hit down again to lose the menu and hit restart 👍

Takes a few minutes to get used to - I end up adjusting sometimes on the run up to the corkscrew - leads to great accidents

I will hope to have a go on monday as my time is easily beatable by a few tenths, just got to brake for the stupid corkscrew correctly and hope to finish off with a good final sector.
