You´re really getting fast

I'm miles off your pace but I recognize the feeling. I think the last two weeks have blinded me with speed and I completely forgot how to drive slowly. I read MarkWebbers description of his lap over and over and tried to nail every corner and beat every split all the time. I only did 3 sessions but I probably had more restarts than laps during those and not much to show for it...I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
Why does this car insist on losing grip, even though I am barely turning the wheel I have blown a .5 lead time & time again. It makes me
Well said EDK, well said indeed. Especially with this car If you try and overdrive your just going to understeer or oversteer wildly off the track, he who drives smoothly shall be rewarded
Driving as smooth as I can, obviously not as smooth as you There is at least a couple of tenths to take off in T3, but I think the exit of the corkscrew is the main problem for me. Upon exit of this corner the car seems to bog down because of the dip in the track. Is it better to take a wide exit for this turn and completely abandon the racing line, or is it down to throttle imput through that little dip
I can't check in here often, is anybody else loosing the #3 brake marker just before the last turn?
It just disapears, to nowhere.
I've found that when I start a new session, then immediately brake to 0 - to fiddle with BB - the brake board (#3) literally takes off, like it's been hit with a 5 iron. It flies off into the barriers or whatever is on the outer edge of the track model. Really quite odd!
Anyone crossed the line on this combo and been given a red clocked -99.59.59.59 as a time gap?! I had that one too.
I think it's the Challenger - it's a bit mental, it messes with the games chi
Are you coasting until you clear the dip?
My best runs through there start all the way out left, to the point that I've taken out the marker signs at times. I TRY to point the right wheels to the left side rumble, but normally have a little too much speed to make that part. Once over the crest, I gradually feed throttle back in, up to maybe 75%, until I can get past the rumble on the right and let the suspension settle again, then mash until the downshift for the next turn.
I know my T3 is terrible on the board, but I've picked up quite a bit there the last couple nights. Now just need to get a good last sector tied to it, like I have on my best total lap.
EDIT : Another thought I had. I think you use auto transmission? Not being able to control when the car goes into 1st, and when it goes back up into 2nd is going to hinder you in this turn, and for this combo in general.
It goes away as soon as you back out of your first session and come back in. It's there on lap 1, and then gone after that.
If you just stay in the session, it stays in place. You can even hit the quick reset button in the pause menu, and it's fine, it's backing out to the menu area to save or view your replay, adjust settings, etc. that makes is disappear.
Three more laps................

Nice work, Dan! Over 1sec improvement there. 👍 Awesome T1.
Top 5 D4'ers are separated by .2 now!
relative to your division that is some T1. better than 95% of mine!

The limit here is carrying as much speed as possible, line is irrelevant, but it's obviously a bonus If you can get the car over to the right as quick as possi ble in prep for the left, carrying 92, 93km/h is an ideal speed, slight moderation of the throttle.
