Slowly getting there, but I might not get another chance this week to improve. Im certain i can get into the 40.xxx at T2, but putting both sectors together...hmmm
 
When I first saw all these splits, I was like :eek:
T1: 15.621
T2: 25.043
T3: 20.818

But I was improving every session and now I'm almost near the top.

(seen a .475 T1, but couldn't do anything usefull with it. Saved it though because it looked so beautiful.)
 
I dont know how you crazy D1G bastards gettting sub 15.7 splits. You probably nail the lines over the bumps. I've had a 15.7 once, but I botched the lap. :sly:
 
I'm seeking for a second opinion.
Is that considered clean because it's very very close to be dirty.

If in doubt, then consider it dirty.

Also, why are you using so much kerb on right-hand part of the chicane? It throws you miles in the air and you lose a lot of speed.
 
Technically, it looks clean, but Sureboss said it right 👍 Try another run with barely getting on the rumbles and you'll probably be ghostbustin'!

Nothing like racing tyres, understeer, and a bumpy track with walls either side to show you how crap you are when you thought you were improving...

I feel like an absolute beginner again doing this combo. I've seen some fast sector times but seem incapable of converting them into a lap. Best T1 so far has been 15.735 - I was stoked.... and then stuffed it in the wall after the 1st tunnel (again). T2 is always crap - can't seem to manage the understeer on that tight right hander so even if I don't crash, I can't carry enough speed through there.

One more attempt tomorrow when I'm not pulling my hair out and then I'm done. My utmost admiration and wonder at the speed some of you guys are managing... I have absolutely no idea how you're doing it.
 
Just brought my T1 down to: 16:232

Pretty happy about that, it's been bugging me for ages. I'm not sure whether to break out my wheel or not, I'm quite happy using a DS3 for these quick direction changes, it's not as if I need throttle control (although manual gears would be nice).

Having a little extra brake bias at the rear does wonders as well.
 
Finally got a chance to run 50 or so laps. Gotta say I like this combo a little better than the last.

Had time for a few laps tonight.

Starting off better than next to last this week. Oh well, still fun.

I've seen a 15.811, so I know I've got at least another three tenths to take off. Of course, I'd say I only ever make it as far as the first split ten percent of the time. :dunce:
 
Oye...can't get the car to stick around the corners..and that 2nd gear turn after the first tunnel is killing me. I know I have a long way to go for the first two sectors..the second two are pretty good.

Saw a 15.6x on T1, couldn't believe my eyes, and so I immediately crashed :guilty:

A little faster at the line but there should be some more tenths to find.
 
Ok, this should be fun. Thanks Joost for the work on the splits thingee, that was starting to make me a little loopy. Love the combo, reminds me of the "old days" hehe. Anywho, first few runs got me here so far:

T1: 16.578
T2: 25.858
T3: 21.495

Obvious room for improvement, and looking forward to it!
