Are you guys doing 15.5 S1s sure your on RM and not RS tyres lol, god damn aliens im struggling at the moment to do 16.4s :(

mind you i've never driven this car before but i like trial mountain.

Suppose alot of you guys have driven this car a million times online since its about the only car i ever see people racing with in online rooms lol, that and the calsonic thing.

Are any of you guys doing really good times messing with brake bias? If so any suggestions on what to set it at.

Im trying 7F 3R atm.

Marginal improvements.... very frustrating track. Only one in every 7 to 10 laps is a clean one.... :yuck:

Yup, I hate the 1st sector. I also hate the other 3 sectors... but slightly less. :)
 
DS3 Users dont have a chance in gt to beat the wheel users. GT5 is a Racing simulator buidt for wheels as a controller. Keep that in mind when racing without any help with a DS3 its near impossible to control the car.

So dont expect that you gonna beat with a controller the top ten^^

OK I realised where I was going wrong, the left-hander after the first S bend and just before the first bridge need minimal braking. And you need to cut the yellow lines before the long tunnel.

T1: 16.683

You have to remember that this track has been there since the beginning. Unlike many of the tracks we use in OLR, some of there guys have been running this one for more than 10 years.

I'm guessing the REALLY good times actually have Gas Bias. As in, flat out, up the hill. :sly:

I have not touched Brake balance yet..

T1 is all about car placement and keeping your car as far right as possible after Corner 2 so you can keep your momentum up for the uphill left. You can loose so much time if your car is in the wrong place.

After an hour and a half racing session, the best i can get using the G27 are:

T1: 16.245
T2: 41.991
T3: 1'03.128

I'll try messing around with the brake bias the next time i give 'er a shot

Awesome Job Ron :bowdown: your on your way to improving on your 2nd place in the Original WRS 1 from 8 years ago :sly: 👍 (you sure its a 1'00.4? and not a 1'01.4? you pulled a second on everybody from T2 - T3 :eek: )

All up I have completed about 4 clean laps without resets.

Maybe i should just do like 10-20 laps at a time no matter
what and get a rythym going, instead of focusing so much on the first sector.

The good news is with all the resets i've managed to be able to do a best S1 of 15.9, but good luck bloody replicating that!
 
The pic of the Supra on the Leaderboard has no tire on the rear wheel. No wonder my car isn't handling properly! :nervous:

Personally when I stuff up (and thats fairly often) I'll complete the lap to try some different lines to see where I can find an improvement.

Thanks for this I was tapping the brake on that corner and after you suggested this I relised I didn't need to. Went from averaging 180km/h up the hill to doing 200km/h up the hill and a bit more sometimes to finally manage to be able to do 16.0s and 15.9s consistantly now.

I was concentrating to much on not losing any speed thru the chicanes prior to the uphill turn and was getting to far to the left before the uphill turn which was costing me.

Anyway I finally managed a decent lap, with a good S1 I was a bit scared during the rest of the lap so I know theres plenty of room for improvment once I start practicing the S2 and S3 bits.

T2: 41.629
T3: 1.02.885

Im sure if i can keep a good T1 like that and improve my next 2 Sectors i can drop down into the low 41s and then hopefully into 1:01 territory. That will be my goal for the rest of the week now :)
