Is the value of 201HP mentioned in first post correct? I have already bought two Elise's and all of the upgrades mentioned, the first one got stuck at 198HP after breaking-in (~700km driven by my Bob), the second one haven't been driven yet but has only 192HP. What could I did wrong? Or maybe these are the target values?...

It's correct.
I bought one - did all the allowed upgrades and got 201bhp.
Did the b spec GV300 and reached 207bhp

You remembered to change the oil?
If it isn't that, then you must have missed an upgrade.

Still looking for the sweet spot in the tune.
Prolly need to concentrate on the nut behind the wheel
Done for tonite 👍

At first I thought rain! XXXX! But I am loving the challenge! awesome combination. Here is my 2nd try and I am still all over the place! :)

Starting to come to grips with Kev's tune gaining around a second this time out.
Is anyone else struggling more as their tyres warm up, after 4 or 5 laps I start having trouble controlling the rear of the car.

It's the same for me, I normally run 4 or 5 laps, have a bad crash, and then restart.

I thought about setting the tune for those later laps, but I think the car is a bit faster under those earlier lap conditions.

If you add some rear toe, or soften the front a bit, the car will have a little less snap to it, but will be slower.

The stiffness level in the front aided turn in vs. the softer settings I had been using. It's interesting trying to find that balance of keeping the back end in check but having quick and accurate turn in with the front.

Still feeling my way around and I have no real idea what to do in the wet:

Great tune Kev, nice even controlled slide! Now I need the nerve to push it! Early Laps Rule as far as tire wear, and better times.

I'm away for a couple of days, and couldn't resist running a few laps before I turn in.
Good traction away from the hairpin is pretty important. Spin the wheels and watch the ghost drive away.

That's it for a couple of days.

D3 is showing up with some very good times this week.

First look, bad T2, almost spun in the hairpin.

Shooting a 154 gives me that racing feeling ....... va room....... va room

I can see this is going to take some time :(

You guys spent all day passing me up, so I had to have another run tonight to get back to the top of the division. ;)

Have seen a couple 0.5's at T1, but could not tie them to anything of value. This lap was a good run all the way to the line, picked up the 0.6 I gained on my last T2 at the line as well.

Kept my tune the same for now. I'm not entirely happy with the behavior or gearing in the esses, but I like it everywhere else. Right now, I'm using 2nd for both the right handers in the esses, to maintain speed and rotate the car. I'm using 3rd for momentum in the left handers. I normally like to just make a clean run through there, with maybe a downshift for the second right, but not normally for both. I also get some understeer that I don't like in the first left of the esses, and again in Degner 2.

Will try tweaking to improve those bits next time I run.

Running this currently with a combination of set-ups posted here, predominantly Kev's gearbox (with tweaks) and JTV's suspension (with tweaks) and my own diff. Run 8 laps so far so still very early days...

1:01.184
50.416

Will get back to it.

Edit: another 5 laps

1:00.872
50.154

Happy to be near Kev (for now :nervous:) as he's a bit of a Suzuka specialist...
Happy to be near Chris (again, for now) as he's faster than me...

Had a short stint this morning. Starting to get the hang of it. Lots of missed time on the track so far.

Dammit, I can't wait to try this one out, I've been dieing to have a race/time trial in the wet but never have the nerve (mainly because I still late brake like it's dry and meet the barriers...).

I'll be having a go of this later and will post some splits then

Latest splits, much better T1, messed up T2, long way too go!!

T1, 1'01.141
T2, 50.880

A very tempting combo but I'm not sure if I have the time.

I suppose a quick two hour session won't hurt. :sly:

Tricky little bugger this.

I am truly slow around Suzuka, T1 is a nightmare but I enjoy T2 and T3 more, finding time here and there but expect to be way down this week!

Just had another sesh on this one

59.418
49.250

On the exit of Degner 1 I had to have a look at the replay as it was mighty close, appears im legal by half a wheel :)

I will keep going to see if I can get a cleaner lap but least i have a back up now :sly:

Edit: and btw Kevin awesome tune once again

Kevin, it's now your serve. I have to do something about T1, but T2 is improving:

1'00.940
49.904

I blew the last chicane so this was only a slight improvement in the overall lap:

1'00.498
50.012

Now I got the last sector right and lost a bunch on the first two. Worst splits in a while, but best overall lap:

1'00.852
50.113

Found two more tenths in the total lap. A couple obvious places to gain time remain:

1'00.552
50.237

Better T3 on this lap so two tenths faster at the line with about the same splits and done for the night:

1'00.608
50.205
