I changed to 45 Front torque, and brakes are now 10/7, with ABS of 1.

The higher front torque really helps to launch it out of the tightest corners. I tried 50, but I couldn't get the car to do what I wanted it to in some other places.

Now if I can just get T1 sorted, I'll have a competitive time.

Gave it a go tonight without SRF on and I can't get anywhere. Dammit! I got into the groove of this track and now I feel like I've been kicked in the knees!!

I hope to try again before it's done, but right now it's major frustration...

Are you handbraking at Grand Hotel hairpin? I can't see this half a second I'm losing. I feel I'm getting about all I can out of Nouvelle, which is of course very important and quite hit and miss.

I tried this but found that flicking to 1st gear does almost the same thing in terms of helping to stay left and you can almost immediately floor it and short shift to 2nd (The gear ratios are SO short that trying to watch for the redline in 1st gear often means you'll hit the limiter....)

Likewise - dunno where all this time is in T2 - I have a T1 in the top 5, but T2 is about 20th best, so I really SUCK there!

I've gone quicker than this at least 6-8 times, but always manage to drop a wheel off at the chicane.... even this lap was almost too close, with half the left front tyre remaining on the chicane..... literally 10cm to the right would have seen me drop it off on the concrete, with only 1 tyre inline..... which is.... you guessed it...DSQ.

Its frustrating due to the fact that the lap remains valid even if you go quite a bit onto the concrete..... it seems as though the Red Flag goes up if all 4 are off, but if one tyre remains on the chicane it sees it as Green. It's when you go check the replay that you get the bad news.... I got that a fair bit this evening.

Anyways..... splits:

I tried at least 10 times yesterday and I get this message "submission rejected as deadline has passed" Are you having the same issue?

I'll take a look at the issue tonight, but all PM's are logged so no messages will be lost and everything will be back traceable.

@osrg, your time of 1'XX.XX9 (submitted on 2011-03-24 13:00) has been received, but not been accepted due to the deadline issue, but it's been received and logged nonetheless.

I MIGHT process all PM's from week 6 again after the problem has been fixed, which would correctly import all previously sent PM's. But that would mean everybody gets (multiple) acknowledgments for previously sent messages which may cause more confusion than when everybody just has to send their time again.

Can somebody please tell me what a clean lap is regarding the chicane, I take it a clean lap is to have just the left side tires on the curb, can someone please explain it to me as I think I maybe loosing time there.

As long as there are two wheels on the rumble strips at all times it's clean.
