I just clarified it in the post above yours. Does that tell you what you need to know?

Thanks EDK, I just couldnt't believe that someone actually thought that you could go straight at that part of the track ...lol. I know that I haven’t been around here that long and w/ the driving line clearly showing that you follow the arc of the turn, wasn’t it an obvious answer?

I also can’t understand why someone who has enough skill and for sure enough time to run a single lap faster then I would be able to do in a year, would just stop trying to compete because of a miss understanding.

All this talk of what clean or not has made me paranoid.
Rule state 2 wheels on the track so I can put 2 wheels on the grass yes?

How much of the kurb can we use after exiting the last turn?
I classed this as dirty, But Is It?

You are clean in all those pics.

One thing I noticed about that red/white curb though, look at the end closest to the start/finish line. It abruptly ends and turns to grass before it meets the pavement. The pic cuts it off a little but it is about 6-8 inches of grass. I threw out my best lap from yesterday because I didn't want to take that chance.

The pictures as you show them look clean, dude. No grass. Always two tires on tarmac. I'd like to see the half-second before the car in third one though. If that is as far off as he ever goes, that's all green. If he's coming back on the track, then no.

Man you have a mile before you get to the thin stuff. I got one lap I threw away that had half the tire off the hard surface and half of it on the grass ...lol.

Picture 2 Is entry to kurb Picture 3 Is exit of It.
I'll update my time anyway, I'm sure to beat It by the end of the week. I've hit a .225 In 1st split just need to stitch It all together.
T1 42.630
T2 25.297

Thanks guys.
Jay...

PS
Lefty your to close for comfort bro.

Yeh I bet you find It difficult driving with th steering wheel on the proper side of the car.

My splits. Hopefully I will get to enter this week. Still waiting for my registration to go through.

Jake has just brought in the new cockpit he's been working on. The thing looks sweet, even though it's still an unfinished prototype. Time for beer!

Rules were 100% clean as far as I'm concern....stay off the grass, invisible walls and don't get red flagged!!

Rudi has posted a few pics on page 4 where on few of them he is clearly behind white lines with the car.All those pics were ruled clean and I really don't see why is this any different.:dunce:

Anyway,it doesn't matter now as it has been ruled out....I'm just pissed that I threw about 2h of my time today on nothing!!

I see you point but that does not mean cut out half the corner. If some tracks have a slipway through a corner, resulting in cutting the corner, yes it is a hard surface but that does not mean we can use it. Laguna comes to mind, the pit road. If it did not red flag the lap that does not mean we could use it.

LOL.... your new time just brought us closer together :)

I have been doing as many of the combos from the driving cam as I can and find them the total emersion experience, and this event gives me additional confidence, because I can drive from the “other side of the car" I should now be able to compete it the “U S Postal letter delivery championships”….lol

I'm really struggling on the next to last turn.... I've seen some .2's on the the first section, but always screw that next to last turn up.....

I've noticed that I consistently turn harder on lap one on tighter corners. Could be a placebo but I'm convinced enough to restart every single lap :|

You're not the only one. I seem to have amazing grip on the first lap, then decreases dramatically on lap2++. However for some reason the grip on Trun 1 on lap 1 is not good (probably still cold tyres). Yes, I restart always on the end of lap2 👍

just looked to google, yes it´s just german xxxt.
Means, not good, not bad. :)

Sorry, was thinking it´s international. :D

My wife is from Frankfurt a/M so I am learning German. It's good enough to get around Germany, but not good enough for her.:sly:

Yeah, I knew okay wasn't the literal translation but close enough.

I also like the In car view & use It where possible throughout the game, Outside the WRS I also use H pattern, paddles ect depending on the car for added realism.

As for us getting closer.

New splits, with an awesome first sector! I was so nervous that I over-braked for Hammerhead, but then held steady after that. Now I have to put it all together.

T1: 42.009
T2: 25.548

Racing On!

OK, So i spent about 2 hours on it last night and i am convinced,
Someone has put an anchour on the back of my car for this week.
I need to reinvestigate the line or something, either that or i need to get more ruthless in how much of the car i put out over the edge.
What ever the case may be, i can not even get close to the times being posted in the botom third of the leaderboard let elone the top end.
You guys are FREAKS!!!!
I soldier on!

Cheer All !!!

Now I have to figure out what mind altering substance will allow me to see the line that will get me to get past you :banghead: I tried to pound my head on the wall but only could see stars so I guess that wasn't the correct choice....

:banghead: When I do It I see stars too.

1. Switch the line off, You'll find faster lines without It.
2. Slow down to go faster.
3. My latest splits I never touched the grass, Keep It smooth.

I'm finally getting down to some splits worth posting. Been able to see T1's in the 42.0 range with some regularity. Getting through Hammerhead without boiling the right front is still a bit of a crap shoot along with the final 2 turns, so I've yet to get a really good lap down all the way through

T1: 42.136
T2: 25.232

New Splits!

T1: 0'42.147
T2: 0'25.118

T3 is still killing me. I can't figure out when to get back on the gas during the next to last corner.
