After trying all week I've finally managed to stitch something dam good (for me) together.
Split 2 Is slower but .358 overall quicker at the line, Bit more to be had but I don't think I can pull off getting It all perfect.
I will try though, Lefty will be gunning for me.

Updated splits
T1 42.106
T2 25.363

Haha! The first time I ever caught the Top Gear show on TV was last night and it was the star in a reasonably priced car! I don't know if they do that every show or not but it was the Suzuki in this one, different track though, American I guess.

My new splits are getting worse but my lap time is faster! I can't remember how I had the set up my first go, oh well I'll keep at it. Oh and I'm like 6 seconds slower with the wheel then when I use the DS3.

Plenty more videos ect here. http://www.topgear.com/uk/suzuki/swift/road-test/sport
If you like Top gear stuff.

Really struggling with getting my times down and keeping it clean. Have seen 41.1xx several times and many 1'07.2xx but can't keep it consistent! :(

Back to the drawring board!

HMMMM Typo or wrong tyres.

I think I have burnt myself out but am so stubborn when I can see a better lap time, it's mainly getting the line right into the first corner, if I get that right I mess up chicago or the hammerhead. I know in my own mind I should leave it for a day but like I said i'm stubborn. :dopey:

I'm at a point that it will take some thinking to work through my approach to this combo inorder for me to get enough of a change in my overall time to get excited so I'm going to devote some more time on the new Seasonal Event Toscana off road TT. It's looking more and more like, my style is just the prefect fit for the off road stuff, the one lap replay of my top 10 ghost is just rocking.

There wasn’t much registry representation in the last off-road TT so why don’t some of you all come on over and swing a leg on the off road stuff and give me some familiar GTP_ names to compete with, it sure would be nice if more then Mysteron and my self were trying to hold the registry banner up so the the world might tremble in fear :)

This is more like it - still lots of time left out there!

T1: 43.121
T2: 25.515

And this time I saved the ghost replay so it's official. 👍

Bugger...

Going to have to see if I can get some more seat time and try and wrestle that tenth back off you! Nice splits. Would like to think I can catch Ash and Mcfizzle, but I can't see that happening...

Hey Carlos,
Welcome to the WRS. Keep at it, will be a good race until the end this week. I really have no clue if I'm fast in T3. I've gotten better but it still seems slow to me. Ash had the third fastest D3 splits last week and won so you never know. The mystery of everyone else T3.:scared:

Looks like this week were gonna have a battle in D4. 👍

T1: 42.822
T2: 25.544

Thanks Mcfizzle. I'm pretty confident that my T3 is a bunch of ass and so still needs some work. Improving my T1 will just be luck I think, but I can see room for improvement in T2. Like I said, my problem will be getting time in the chair to make a difference...

Great splits BTW, and thanks for the welcome.

I'll be there eventually, love the rally stuff :sly:
Can't wait to have a rally event in WRS, would be fun 👍

Haven't seen a time from josh yet, waiting to surprise us :P

You got the sickness, too!! :ill:
My allotment for time this whole week was 16 hours on racing. I'm already over twenty, and will probably do another twenty.
The thing that gets me is that I've gone back and forth with my splits, and my fastest lap now is over a second quicker at the line, with my t3 still within a hundredth of a second of my posted splits. If my t1 is slow, I nail Hammerhead and catch back up. The one time I had low 1'07.2xx at t2, I put a tire over edge on Gambon!!! :banghead:
I don't know if it's dedication or obsession. :boggled:
I also don't know if it's re-assuring or disturbing to think I'm not the only one!!!
In the meantime,

Race On!

New splits:

T1: 0'42.061
T2: 0'24.918

Looks to me like D3 is leading the way!!! :D
With a top five overall by mcfizzle and a sector-leading time from ASH32, it's no wonder why I'm driving so hard just to hope for a podium in my division!!! 👍

Very nicely done, Gentlemen!!

Racing On!

Fantastic times Pyxen. Back to the track for me.

I used to wear a "Bill the Cat for President" T-shirt long before Bill Clinton was on the scene. You're almost showing your age!! :)

I'm trying to represent D3.👍 I just can't figure out T3, the next to last left more specifically. I'm going to be gone all weekend so I doen't have a lot of time to figure it out.

My most consistent fast endings is where I'm looking for the dark X in the track. The top of that X is my visual as soon as I hit the first footage sign, and the angle of the top of that sign points towards the inside of the penultimate corner. If I keep that top corner just to the left of my front tire, I will have a good yet controllable momentum as I prepare to negotiate Gambon.

That is exactly what I am aiming for. When I see splits like that on the board I get too nervous, you know, and brake a little harder than I wanted to. This afternoon I had T3 down, now I'm a little lost again.

I do know that feeling. With the ghost in front of me, I find speed by driving harder. When he's behind me, I lose speed because I think I'm going too fast. When I race without it, I'm still adjusting my speed according to sector times, but it's more erratic. The learning curve is up and down without the ghost, and only increases slowly by using it! So I am always building new ghosts to chase, hoping to find an extra tenth or two by learning new lines. Then I lack the skill to keep hitting the new lines a new ghost may show me. Still I just keep racing! :dopey:

Don't you hate it when you are close to submitting, then you check you replay . . .
Back to the track for me, put 1 tyre a little to close to being off to call.
Bugger!
Cheers All!!!

Thaks for the help tonight Chuk.👍 After looking at replays I was cutting in there a little to sharp, causing me to loose some speed.

I try to not use my ghost too much. I make too many mistakes when I pop it up to see how I'm doing. I never leave it on through a corner as it distracts me.
