Probably, but last weeks I have been practising a lot, also found an awsome way to be able to concentrate... These tt without tunning suit me better anyway. Back to track now, I feel there is more to be found, as I am constantly on my ghost's tale.

I don't think there's any more to gain for me. Really happy I got these at all as my prior pb had a slower T3 but I kept lapping .1 off the ghost time. Fortunately the only time I checked this lap vs the ghost was after the final turn. No more turns to blow

I am really getting the feel for this car, hard to get the 1st chicane right. PB in T1 is 3/10th's better than this split, I can't put the lap together after being excited to see blue split time! I keep my ghost off just wish I could stop glancing at the clock!

I do the 1st chicane best when the entry angle is right, then I can treat it as one continuous turn. That's the hard part for me. Throttle control is something I have to master. I'm a lead foot!

Can someone clarify the run off area after exit of Ascari on the right, is it legal to go wide after the red and white rumble?

That's a dirty run Lefty.
Once the car has left the rumbles the white line becomes the border so both left side tires must be on or inside the line.

My intention was not only to use Week 18's boundaries as they related to the green areas. We're using Week 18's exact same boundaries all around. I changed the wording to be more explicit:

The last couple pics in the Lambo thread for Week 18 should clarify it for you; that the white line is the edge of legal surface, or of course the red/white rumbles if the car were further back:

Tarmac outside the white boundary line after the rumbles end in the left hand exit of Ascari (is illegal)

I have a question, i am currently in a session and had a decent lap that i saved the replay and the ghost, but it seems like they merged together i dont know, i can only see one file in replay theater where normal you can see both the ghost (with the laptime displayed) and the total replay(with total lenght time displayed)

But i see just one file, the time displayed is the one of the ghost, but when it load its the total replay file... and i cant load the ghost i dont see the file...

Is it still allowed? Im a little short on time i will have to stop here, if its not allowed its ok at least i tried

It was getting together better today, had a 37,837 on T2 as best and 30,842 on T1 as best.

Anyway goodluck to all it was a great combo! 👍

Only ghost laps are allowed for submitted laps.
Have you checked both the replay theatre and tried to load the ghost?
Edit: if you are still in the session, can you try saving the ghost again?

I don't think I'm going to get a magic lap this week. I spent an hour on it last night and thought I made progress but the lap ended up being dirty. I think I'll go back, load that ghost and run until I beat it, but even then it's not close to your time or Jon's time at T2.

Have you checked both the replay theatre and tried to load the ghost?

Yes i tried both but i can only see one file in replay theater and no ghost available when i try to load from the free run menu. And im 100% sure i saved the ghost i was happy with the run even though i was still 0,150 slower on T2 than my best.

the time displayed next to the file in replay theater is the laptime of the ghost thats what is strange, normaly its a couple second more, look like the road end here for me this week.

I will not save both the replay and ghost on monza anymore.

I have another 30 minutes free before leaving i will give it last try just in case


edit: Marc, when still in the session i tried to save the ghost, i always click save before leaving to make sure and it said it was already saved, thats why im 100% sure it was saved, im clueless about this but the result is still the same i have to forget this lap.

That sucks, sorry to hear the ghost is not there. That's a great idea to save on exit though, for some reason when I run arcade combos I often forget to save the replay - never in GT mode.
I don't usually save any regular replays, but I do use them to instantly verify a lap while in a session.

I tried again but couldnt improve, im just turned off by the replay issue and i had to leave anyway
I did improved T1 though, best was 30,834 and id say low ,800 is possible with more time.

Heres my 30,847 T1 for anyone that can find it useful, the key is to brake far left right a the end or middle of the last exit(small road on the side)

then trail brake the last part to help turn-in and get as right as possible on the curb, then turn left on the other curb, give a slight blip in 2nd gear on the curb (on the curb only) it will help turn-in a little more to be in line on exit and will shave a good acmount of time there, then shift in 3rd as you do the transition from the curb to pavement and accelerate in 3rd with a line wide enought to prevent wheelspin, a slight oversteer might be still okay for low ,900s

you might even need to counter steer a little bit, barely while accelerating in 3rd to prevent any sliding in same time as it happen...(hard to explain..) its like knowign in advacne the car will need counter steer...

Then keep the inside, close to the white line WITHOUT touching the curbs or grass, i could been slightly closer in the video, following the skidmark line will lose almost half a tenth.

I got another run in today, but the final sector keeps letting me down when it matters.

New splits anyway, but the lap is missing about 0.2s from T3

Well done Welsh my best time after two split was 1:08.762 but i lost all the gained time in T3..., that sector will make all the difference.

The time i was ready to post was 1:08.891 after two splits but with one of the best T3 i had so far.

Almost quit the lap when I smoked the tires quite badly exiting the first chicane, but went on to hit my best T2 with a good enough T3 to beat my pb by .020.
All in all an hour + of laps improved my pb by .036 even though now I'm hitting 31.1xx in T1 consistently
