Sorry hope your not offended by that post just know that I can do better. If you have read my posts on this thread you will realize I am no expert when it comes to this track, but I have learn't something that may be useful to help you.

The 3rd corner is where I find a lot of the time is for T1, the best way to take this corner is as tight as possible. It gives you a great run down to the start of T2. I don't think you want to be going wide on this turn as you will have a slow run down to T2.

Went way to deep into turn 1, so there is a couple of tenths there. Still no clue how to do turn 2 :banghead:

Late apex for turn 2, I generally come in a bit wide, but T1 is all about the last right before T1 timing beam. Stay well left after the left hander and get on the power early.

Use the power on oversteer in turn 2 to help pull you through.

Had .3 better at T2 (.1 in T1 and .2 in T2) and the cone bug appeared at the last corner, which of course is on my racing line and I didn't see it till too late, so couldn't balance the damn thing.

Superb combo. Great fun (apart from the cone bug).

Not offended at all, this is my third run in manual drive so I'm not expecting any miracles.
 
Are people handbraking turn 1?

No, no handbrake with a race car... you want zero slip from the tyres. Keep it all smooth, entry and exit. The key is keeping your entries neat and getting on the power as early as possible. Turns 2-4 benefit a late entry and full throttle through the apex. :)
 
Anyone got any tips on brake balance as of yet? Im currently using a forward bias setup to try and cure some of the oversteer! Seems to work ish for me!

A quick 5 laps before food yielded these times:

T1: 37.302
T2: 24.688

When you put it that way, I had this image of watching a race on TV where every car handbrakes the turn one after another, and it was pretty funny. So I guess that isn't very realistic. :) Thanks for the response.
 
Lost my chance to improve on Week 8. Here's hoping I'll finish higher this time around.

Thanks for the tips Sureshot, I may give that a try later on. like people have said, surely in a week I can get on the pace being set by my division. I don't expect to be catching Zoky anytime soon. :sly:

Well, last week was fun but it's back to reality. I have to do a better job with my line on this track. I'm always a car width and a half off the inside of the corner and it just kills entry and exit speed.

First splits:
T1: 0'36.979
T2: 0'24.087
 
Man, I was hoping to get some laps in today, but the missus just called and the main cooler at the restaurant is not working. That means we just lost most of the meat and seafood. 🤬 At least it's not on a Saturday!! Maybe tomorrow.
I don't see myself catching you this time, mcfizzle. :) And Niels looks like he's going to be fast this week, 👍 with Ash leading another D3 horde right behind him! :D Go D3!!!

This is easily the most addictive week so far...
Lost a tenth in T1, gained 2 in T2 and made .5 up at the end of the lap...👍

Missing far too many Apexes in T1! Almost every one!! :(

T3 was also pretty terrible, messed right up through the chicane and nearly stopped!

Still, .8Xx off of my T3 time! :)

pfff, why not? :P There are two nice corners where you can use it. First one and the one after T1.
But cars like that i don´t like that much anymore. I´m going older and rusty.

I too found ABS 10 to help, mainly with deceleration, but enabling TCS is a tough sell. I'll try getting creative with some settings today.

Been on track about 15 mins and already thinking about submitting and be done with this week. Doesn't seem to matter how much practice I put in on this track, nothing seems to be improving, T1 being the biggest problem :grumpy:

It was really just a tongue in cheek joke. That's the order they have them in for the online lobbies, and I can never find the track I'm looking for.

This is what I would like to call "A tricky little fella"

Still;

T1: 36.406
T2: 23.829

A good T2 and T3 I would say, but T1 is really difficult. Feels to me like being super-aggressive and managing the oversteer is the way forward, being smooooth just takes too long :P
