 Sorry Matt. :guilty: I always feel like I'm gatecrashing the party turning up so late but I don't have much free time during the week, or even some weekends. But if you're going to arrive late, gotta do it in style hey? :sly: Thanks, you too. đź‘Ť I'm pretty worried about my last sector as usual but I don't think there's any way I'm going to beat this lap.

Just a very small 3 hundredth at the line, too much wheel spin coming out of the last corner. my best splits tell me I have about 4 tenths I'm leaving on the track but not sure how I can get it

Start of the lap was sloppy, end wasn't quick enough. 2x .100 to be found in both, but I don't often get sector 3 this quick so plenty to lose as well....

There is always a next time.... health comes first !

And @ Firecracker, it was nice to see you racing with us online, can imagine it is hard, but I hoped you enjoyed untill the pain took over ;)
I'll try my best to make the next academy, which means doing less time on the TT's to give the back & hip more time to heal. I enjoyed the online race immensely! đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Well I haven't run another lap all week and won't have time for more so I'm submitting my lap based on splits posted last Sunday. I guess I was the D2 rabbit this week and I'm watching as I get left in the Laguna dust. Was hoping the track would get wet and my early lap would stand.

EDIT: In fact I only think I left about 0.25 on the track. I just don't have the time or will power to grind these final tenths anymore. I think I'll try to participate more often in these TT and just live with the fact that I can't extract all the track has to give, especially now that the online physics are so close and these laps translate so well to the online race (which is my focus). Hope to see some of you online where I will exact my revenge.

Don't worry Tim you're still going to beat me handily - not that that's any consolation lol!!

Well, second sector is terrible, but the rest of the lap is good. Had my best final sector on this lap, so I guess I'll submit this one. I can't take any more of this track.

Bogey track for me just can't seem to get through the lap consistently when I'm 3 tenth ahead I mess up at the cork screw if I make it through there then I mess up the very next fast left hander if I survive there, then I get too much wheel spin in the final corner :banghead: I think I'm done with this week

Battle hotting up in D2 as the week draws to a close. Nice going guys... and girl. đź‘Ť :) So where is D1 this week? This was a great combo hustling this bugger round here and I don't usually enjoy Laguna Seca much. Anyway, good luck all.

Didn't manage to improve my splits, still a little bit faster over the line. Submitted my best effort.

Not sure if I understand you correctly, but... usually you would (and common courtesy suggests you should) post the splits of your best effort / submitted lap even if they push you down the splits board.

I was quite a bit slower than you in my first session and decided not to continue because I didn't have much more GT5 time left this week.

I finnaly found some time too run this one when my neck and shoulders are not killing me I put in about 70 hr. behind the wheel every week and some times I just cant do any more Sim or real, but any way loving this combo even what little time I have spent on it.

first splits for the week

Well better get back too it while I still can because after whatching the replay I left alot on the track

I did give it a try but found it made the car under steer real bad I went back too my old set up with your tranny and it was better but I just dont have much time left too get that perfect lap with it. But man dose it pull hard

I was just wondering if anyone had any better results w/ my 4 speed setup?
I tried it, but couldn'tmake it work for me. I'm afraid I need more magic then that provided!! I used you're 1st tune and it helped.

Talk about close, and it stayed up, lol.

Well, after waking up this morning and not feeling much better, I just decided that I wasn't done with this, pain or no pain. Had my girlfriend help me into my playseat with my heating pad, took my pain meds, and that was where I sat all day long, trying to better my time. Through immense pain and my unwilliness to give up, I was finally rewarded with the improvement I was after. My girlfriend thinks I'm a bit crazy, but she knows my ultimate goal and my quest to be the best, regardless of my disability. Hell, they told me I would never walk again and I overcame that hurdle so fighting through a bit of pain to further my skills in this game is really nothing in the grand scheme of things. Anyways, sorry for the ramble, just proud of my effort today. Here are my splits.

Now, I can rest easy knowing I gave everything I had. Peace.

Good work man way too go fighting through the pain. I just did the unthinkable knocked .850 off the total lap time but when I backed out too save the ghost I hit the wrong button and BAM it is gone for ever :banghead:

I've been trying to beat my ghost for an hour or two now, and I got close only a couple of times. What I realized, though, is that my best T4 so far is about 0.35s better than the one from my best lap :scared:

That means if I don't improve my lap time, I could easily go down enough places to be right off the podium, even if things stayed as they are now (depending on other people's T4's, of course) :nervous:

I'll drink to that!! Great going! It took a lot of determination and guts to do what you did now and in the past!! đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Nice going CargoRat đź‘Ť you just rocketed up the board and moved me to try to pound Laguna again. I need a drink ....... :banghead:

Did I? I haven't even looked at the leaderboard yet. Just trying to recupperate right now, lol. If I moved up that far, I may have to suck it up and give it one last go tomorrow. My lap was a bit messy as far as my lines go.

Also, thanks everyone for the kind words. Means alot coming from GTPlanets' best drivers.

Have a look Mitch, you did jump up the Leaderboard big time! Good going!!

Damn, I guess I did! Now I'm really motivated. Going to see if I can give it one last try tomorrow. Like I said, it was a clean lap but my lines were'nt the best so maybe I can pick up a bit more time with better lines.

I'm worried about t4 too its hit or miss, I had a bit of wheel spin coming out of the last corner and lost out on acceleration to the line. Its hard to improve :scared:

Well this will be it for this combo, I am out of time I dought I will have any time after work. still couldnt match the fast lap that I messed up and didnt save. Oh well
