Hopefully someone can send you a LVL 24 ticket before the race from the 3d3 account. I have no access to a PS3 until Tuesday night. You would also need break in time.

Really too bad I can't join today

I'll organize a bunch of short 15 min races for our official practice slots Thursday and Friday, but no full length races so people can come and go.

This GP requires more emphasis on racing versus quali because the draft is so crazy and will play a bigger role than starting position. I'm not sure starting on front row is a great thing as you might get passed by turn 1. I for one think that's silly, but it is what it is, so be prepared.

Take car in chicane 2 and entry to ascari as it is easy to cut. Ascari especially is easy to cut unintentionally and found I did it too often in first practice race. Need to fix that before the race or quali. Remember two tires need to be on rumble in those sections. If you brakes too late for chicane 2 you have to make an effort to make the second part of the chicane in bounds... Just cutting second half without taking your medicine is a clear cut.

Don't feel bad Lucas. It takes prep and is dangerous. I was definitely dangerous in the first practice race at Monza. Some of these guys have run a half dozen races here in this car. We need as much race practice before the official race as possible. If people blow a gasket over a practice race they need to chill.

No problem Lucas , I dropped out of the Suzuka race last year because I felt the same when I did the practice race, I wish I joined in the end after a few more practices I could stay on the track.

Main lounge (GTP_3D3Racing) has been set to default to Monza and is reserved for the F1 series from now until Sunday.

I may be a few minutes late for FP1 today, but I'll be there. Feel free to set up the lounge at any point and just post here when it's open. No full length races during FP1 or FP2 so drivers can come and go and get on track, but races of about 12-15 minutes (~8-9 Laps) are good with free run periods between.

Nice video Bart. A lot of skill required not to ditch this thing in the drink when following that closely for that long. The draft is "silly" but certainly provides some good opportunities for back and forth racing.

I need some practice in the draft today or I'm going to be a train wreck on Sunday.

We've got 16 for sure signed up for qualifying today and 1 reserve. Oink has a reserved spot as the broadcaster so we are going to run two rooms (for Q1 only) unless we get any cancellations.

Drivers' room assignments for Q1 are listed in the registration document. All D1 drivers are assigned to the main lounge (GTP_3D3Racing) and all D3 drivers are assigned to the B lounge (GTP_3D3_B). D2 drivers are split so that the numbers are event -- check the registration image.

Hasslemoff is going to direct Q1 in the B lounge. I'll direct Q1 in the main lounge. All drivers that advance to Q2 will compete for the remainder in the main lounge.
