with this setup the car became very loose with imminent risk to spin off every third or fourth lap
That's basically how I tuned cars in this game. It might be more stable if you added rear downforce (notice how the rear has less than the front lol) or put the weight distribution more forward, since I basically made both put the car right on the edge of being controllable.

Also funny seeing someone using a setup I posted more than a year ago, I don't even play GT6 anymore

Getting lobby server error when tried to enter this afternoon.
Did some free laps with @Meister Fetz set up and got best of 2.00.864. I guess that would be a second slower online?
Had ballast at 50 but was a lottery at turn 1.
Moved it to 26 which settled it down

what about the rest of this setup? Left as is, especially the downforce at 350/350?

thx,
D.

So having tested for the last 5 hours I have concluded a bad headache is preferable to driving the Lexus. Cannot for the life of me get it to match my RX-7 which cracked 1:59.2 inside 5 timed laps.
Not as excited for this weekend as I have been the previous two, see you all out there.

Yeah.
On most of my set ups I use the suspension settings as @Meister Fetz had so I was used to that feel of the car but I was unsure whether it was the low rear downforce or the ballast position that was causing issues through the turns.
Moving the ballast settled the car so I left the downforce as stated in original set up.
