Next race is up! Unfortunately we've been cut off from fibre so back to my old upload speeds (Downf rom 1.4mb upload to 0.9) which isn't a lot but technically that's over a 50% increase I had

However this is a cracking race, the next Fuji one is currently uploading and I'm editing Suzuka as we speak!

@GTP_Dutchy in terms of track limits at top of eau Rouge how will that be judged? like the arcade limits where you can have 2 tires on rumble strip and it's clean Or must be 2 tires on track at all times and can put 2 tires on rumble as well.

Hey guys,
Sorry it's been a while but there were some complications in getting the results finalized but we'll get there.
The round 5 fuji results are in the results post underneath the OP.
First of all Mecca congratulations on your victory in Suzuka!
Then we move on to the bracket 2 results although it looked like @TNR_5zigen was going for a sure win in bracket 2 his performance in Suzuka allowed @StigsTC and @Alfa_Avanti44 to sneak passed him.
Both ended up with the same amount of points even so we had to look at the event results of both drivers. Both drivers managed a 3rd overall (alfa in Suzuka) (Sitgs in Bathurst) so we even had to look at their second best results. For both drivers this race was Fuji. I Fuji Alfa ended up in 4th leaving Stigs in 5th. So big congratulations for both drivers on an epic consistent performance and especially to @Alfa_Avanti44 for brining home the victory which couldn't have been closer!
Than the championship standings please note that this is an standing based on all races driven so far. after round 9 we will deduct the worst race from each driver to form the final championship standings.

Thanks a lot to everybody, form the organizers to the whole drivers to make this a very good series to race and compete on.

Not going to lie I'm a little salty to lose on count-back which went by rounds not races, but that's what happens when you bin it into the pit wall at Fuji. Can't be too mad I guess.

We use a point factor of 2 for the 20 min sprints, a factor of 3 for the 30 minute sprints and a factor of 6 for 60 minute race. So while having a different format each event weighs exactly the same. thats the reason why we look back to those results instead of who had the better result of 1 single sprint race. That would be unfair i.e. a sprint win would then weigh as much as a win in a 20 min sprint. that just doesnt flow with the championship. But dont get me wrong i understand its always crude to be on the business end of these kind of things!
