Reasonably happy with this evenings progress. I put together a lap with a 59.1xx finally, and although my entry to the hairpin was a bit rubbish, I got good traction out, which was nice :D Also got into the 1'46.xxx's, albeit by a whisker, which was my target for today, so I'm happy :)

A big welcome to our newest member, acidburns :scared: and here are my latest splits:

T1: 59.147
T2: 1'46.939

Not sure what's gone wrong with the leader board but my post looks okay :ill:

There's something a little funny about the apostrophe in your second split...

All the best
Maz

try again....

T1: 58.962
T2: 1'46.656

Good spot guys,...I copied it out of word :dopey:

Woohoo...got some better times by about 2 seconds.

T1: 1'01.065
T2: 1'51.052

Nothing exceptional, but a personal victory for moi. I'm starting to manipulate and know when the car oversteers so I'm ready, learning this car's gearbox is simple, although not as easy when you're too lazy to switch it back to miles per hour. I hope to get these times up by a half second by the end of the week.

Another update, looking better.

T1: 1'00.647
T2: 1'48.943

I seriously think that the GTP_WRS is starting to make me a better driver. 👍

Well, I just beat the target time that I thought I could hit with this combo, and yet I know I can go faster. Surprisingly managed to not cut Degner 1, understeer off into the gravel at Spoon or clip the curbing on the exit of 130R and spin out on this lap.

T1: 58.777
T2: 1'46.682

Finally, after a few weeks off I get a chance to do some racing & 30 min into my session - the 🤬 red light of death! Submitting with the following splits, just got off phone with Sony & it has to be sent in. :irked: It better be back in time for you know what! :) Until then, to all my fellow GTP drivers. See ya soon. I hope. :sly:

59.973
1'48.367

EDIT: Never mind about the submitting. Just realized I can't even get my disc out of my system. How would I get my replay out? :dopey::dopey::dopey:

I have no idea how you guys are going around this track so fast with this car. It's not a terrible car, but I have a really hard time keeping it stable, and always turn in too late or too early, or get on the throttle too soon or some stupid mistake. Each session I have a different problem with it.

Going Backwards in first sector :grumpy:

T1: 0'58.724
T2: 1'46.103 Almost pinched Maz’s sector time :scared: you should be, j/k Maz.

Nice work Phil! I think ideal second sector time should be in the region of 47.0xx, I've personally done 47.1 but didn't end the lap properly. I'm looking to nail 57.9 / 47.1 in order to get that 1'45.0 at T2.

I look forward to finally getting back on this again tonight 👍

Thanks, you'll do it easy Maz didn't end it properly  I can't start it properly best T1 to press is 58.512, I'll be happy to put that with the .103 @T2 then submit. :)

Phillip.

First descent splits this week, I missed the apex of the hairpin and breaked to late for the chicane so not really happy but its doable.

T1: 58.667
T2: 1'46.394

Made a mess of T1 but much quicker over the line. I know there's more time (especially given the 1.46/7 splits being posted) but not stringing it together just yet.

T1: 1'00.489
T2: 1'49.128

Dug out another tenth, 3 more left to grab, one of which I've lost in T1...

T1: 58.100
T2: 1'45.320

Great to see you here Will

All the best

Did a one hour session tonight (which is unusually long for me). I got a lot of frustration during the stint, but finally managed to improve my splits

T1: 1'00.036
T2: 1'48.437

Wicked fast times, I'm sure you'll drop them as the week progresses. 👍 Good to be back-I'll remember to submit this week....:dunce:

I agree lol, in my first 30mins I've only managed 1:01.017 and 1:50.089 : /, not looking too good for me hope to get down to 1:00 and 1:48 for a new GT5P DS3 driver am I doing average?

For whatever reason, the fetchbot does not like my previously posted splits, so I'll try again:

T1: 58.530
T2: 1'46.103

I can't understand why your splits still aren't showing, even though you've deleted the quoted ones and posted again
