Initial splits for the board after todays first session......A very 'bitty' session with lots of restarts but somehow I've done 171 miles..........suspect a lot off road rather than track plus some of those might have been claimable as air miles !

Still trying to work out best lines etc for T2 turn plus stop overbraking into 1st turn.........

I'm going to give this a go tonight got a couple of questions to ask just so I'm 100% clear on everything. First GTsport wrs TT

No Tuning Allowed:

does this mean Brake Balance as well ?

And is there no way of checking if we tuned the car etc anymore since we can't export our replays and send them to fetchy ?
i know we may 'be required to submit a replay via GT Sport Share function for verification AFTER Unofficial Results have been posted.' Is there a way of checking all this by the replay that i've missed ?

Welcome to your first GTSport TT, great to have you along and I hope you have fun. No the tuning restriction does not apply to any feature that is available in your HUD so Brake balance and Transaction control you can change as you like, when you like.

We have no automated way of checking but experience is paying dividends when we look at your replays and we are spotting outliers

Don't hesitate to ask if you need clarification on anything else

I have! Ended up being an illegal lap due to me not noticing my tyres were RM but I'll put it up after the event. You do need metallic gonads to pull it off and a healthy dose of luck in my case.
I think a solitary tyre off road is as far as I'd intentionally push it though.

That can be a neat little trick to overcome a lack of turn in but I'm not sure that is doing you as much a favour as you might think. I haven't had chance to run much yet but the little experimentation I did seemed to be saying stay tight but stay on track with all wheels and if you hit the little dip on the apex then you had it perfect.

Happy to be shot down but this car seems to like being on nice even tarmac 👍

As I said I would struggle in the faster cars using roof cam instead of “kiddie cam”

The second sector is where I am struggling most as I struggle with the sense of speed.

I will not be giving up on this though as I can see the benefits

Haven't been able to get a handle on sector 2 yet. Hitting some low .1's in sector 1 just can't hold on to them.
But I think the real killer of our laps will be the final sector. It's a real pain to get right. Time will tell.
