I'm calling overall podium for you this week. Mark my words. Unless you get banzai'd...
I hope so, I'm pretty happy with my t3, but there's still a day left and I just have to watch from the sidelines. Wasn't expecting much with my slow start this week, but the combo was super fun, which helped me stick with it until I got the hang of it.

Is there some magical method I'm missing here? My splits have getting worse and I can't get anywhere close to the current top splits.

I think at some point I'll just have to accept that I won't find those three tenths I'm looking for and submit... my top 5 times are separated by .015, despite having as much as two tenths difference in T1. :boggled:

From looking at all of my times, I think T1 and S1 are not very important so long as I got a good run heading into S2.

S3 is where it's at. I'm running consistent 24.7s and 54.9s but my final sector is not getting any better. I'm leaving at least 3 tenths there.
I'm close to giving up.

Edit: I'm done. Let's see if some other people had this much trouble with the chicane.

I installed the rigidity, it didn't help with speed so far as I can tell, just the ease with which I could apply it. Did 🤬 at the roundabout, then blew through the chicane like it wasn't there by comparison with previous laps (a few lengths behind to .080 improvement).

Still dropped a quarter of a second, but it's getting too hot for me to drive, so this is likely it.

Nice sector 1, I don't know how to get that low over there, I've dipped into the .6s but its usually a high .6

I don't know either, beyond getting a fairly tight line. I didn't hit the two rumbles through the hairpin and slightly rode up the exit one, that line and maximising the speed seems to work occasionally. It should be good for mid .7 every lap you don't majorly screw it up though.

Edit: submitted and accepted, good luck, everyone. :)👍

.7s i have no problem getting those, .6s I have an idea and its usually just down to perfect execution of that idea which never usually happens, or when it does I mess up everywhere else.

It's hit and miss for me too, I think the rigidity made it slightly easier, but made the two long left turns a bit harder. If you're struggling more with the hairpin and the final chicane than the big turns, try it. Actually, if you have time try it anyway, it's interesting to feel the subtle difference in grip characteristics.

I've tried it its not bad, on turn in it seems a bit harder but other than that its not too different if you don't have it. I think turn in is slightly better without it, either way I did the same time to within .010 with it installed and without it.

Interesting, it could be that I restored rigidity and rebuilt the engine at the same time then.

It's interesting coming back after a few days off...I was humming at the top of the LB a few days ago and now I'm languishing! Pretty sure I won't get a chance to have another go before submission time...just gotta hope for a negative handicap now :fingerscrossed:

You also have very low downforce, which for me unsettles the rear. Im using high downforce so the difference when the rigidity is installed for me is probably slightly less than for you. Maybe thats the difference. Either way I don't mind driving with it on or off. I've done similar sector times either way, so I don't think its a magic bullet. But thats just me, others have found it helped them tremendously.

Ready to submit but forgot my memory stick when I left for work this morning. Touch and go as to whether I can get home in time and get it uploaded prior to deadline - is there a process in place to submit the time prior to the deadline and the reply after it?

I'm sorry, there is not. We need to be able to check the specs at the time of submission.

Submitted and accepted. Not a very good week lap time wise but again learned a few more things so that's a plus. Good luck everyone and thanks for the combo @EDK

Well, I got a bit better although I don't know if this lap is completely clean. Checking. Clean in my eyes. 👍

Thanks to the posted tunes.. and great advice.... I have got a lap in I'm much happier about..:).. even though I left an enormous amount of rubber.. on the track.. with tyres smoking like mad..:D.. all sectors where blue.. knocking over .3 off @ the line.. so this will do for this week.. I may not be last in Div 2.. after all.. :sly:
